Lets face it, the last change to shield was just poorly implemented. A hard cap at 40% means that every shield will have the same strenght for dds, and both morphs of ward and annullment will be useless. infact you might aswell leave the skill at level one, not to mention bastion cps will be uselss too. The shield provided will be 40% of your health no matter how high your mag or spell damage is, being around 6800 per most dds, just a little bigger than bone shields that is always 36% of your health. So not only a low level magicka player will have the same exact shield as a max cp with a bazzilion point into magicka and spell damage, but a tank probably don't even be able to cap his shield shice most of them one one hand have way more health than a dd allowing the shield to theoretically bigger, but their low magicka won't allow then to max it, resulting to be more or less on pair of the dds one... Do you see where I'm going? If that wasn't enought why running a weak shield with a tank when you can use bone sield to provide group utility and actually have it scaling off your health?
Zos If you're listening just remove the hard cap and make shield scale off both magicka (and spellpower) and health. That way both dds with high resources and tanks with high health will benefit from it, otherwise you might aswell make it a fixed value for everybody cause it will probably always be the same strenght for any player anyways.
