So I logged in every durned day in Sept. Because I wasn't here @ 5pm PST sharp to claim my reward, it reset into October an hour or two after my 5pm PST time to claim the 100k, so thanks ZOS for giving us that narrow window in which to claim the 100k. Shady, real shady.

@ghastley you don't even have to relog, actually. The next reward will happily announce itself at one minute after, right in front of the Trial Boss or other preferred-uninterruptible scenarios. So I logged in every durned day in Sept. No the window is 24 hours long for everyone. Because the change-over is during a normal PST evening, you get the chance to grab two days' rewards, and so only need to log in (twice) every other day.
I do find it strange that they use UTC for the login rewards. It works for me because I'm in the UK and UTC is just another name for GMT, so it resets at either midnight or 1am my time. But it seems weird for an American company to do that, especially when other events usually use EST.
Ideally I think they should pick one time zone and use that for everything. And where possible have things reset at the same time - so the login reward moves to the next day at the same time as other daily things reset - like when new daily quests and crafting writs become available. It would make it easier to remember when things reset.
