Personal pain points with the recent changes

My personal pain points with the recent changes. Anything not on this list I've either missed, or am happy with the change. This is mainly from a PvE perspective tho, there's a couple PvP changes im wary of but since I'm not really a PvPer I wont touch on them.

Minor/Major Evasion: These buffs no longer grant a passive chance to dodge. They now reduce the damage you take from area of effect attacks by 5/25%.
Refreshing Path: This morph now adds healing. The healing value is equal to the damage value of Twisting Path.
  • Rip my sap tank... at least give a bit of damage to refreshing, let me still be able to hold agro...

Power Lash (morph): The Power Lash special attack is no longer free, and now costs half the amount of a regular Flame Lash.
The spectral bow proc is no longer free, and costs half the amount of a regular Grim Focus.
  • Make these free, along with Frags. Why kill sustain?

Dark Exchange: This ability and its morphs now restore half their resources immediately, and the other half over 20 seconds. Total resources restored has been increased by approximately 2%. The Health restored remains unchanged.
  • Make this instant cast, every class should have a sustain tool (without a cast time & without trading 4k health :S)

Screaming Cliff Racer (morph): This morph no longer has a minimum range requirement to obtain part of the 15% damage done bonus. Every meter you are away from the target adds 1% damage done, up to a maximum of 15%.
  • Just give the 15% as standard, magden need love.

Elemental Weapon (morph): Increased the cost of this morph by 10%.
  • Why? Dont kill sustain on 80% of classes please.

War Horn: This ability and its morphs no longer grant Minor Toughness.
  • Forcefully inserting wardens into raids isn't the way to go about making them wanted. Plus this effectively puts an essential buff to newer groups behind a paywall.

Healing Ward (morph): Removed the initial heal from this ability (this change was originally in last week’s PTS patch).
  • Forcing the new resto weapon to be 'needed' lol

Conjured Ward: Reverted the cast time and duration increases from this ability. The total strength is now limited to 40% of caster's max health.
Annulment: Reverted the cast time and duration increases from this ability. The total strength is now limited to 40% of caster's max health.
  • Can live with this, as long as 1 morph isn't completely useless and adds more resistance or something.

Im going to continue this trend lol

    Personal Pain points

Shields, I think they are fine in pvp but I dont see this working in pve. Its a massive nerf with light armor getting no other mitigation. In pve you cant just spec more into defense, stam doesnt have too. What about situations with no healer like vma?

Dark exchange, I dont know why they made this change? was it intended as a buff or nerf. We had a rep notes saying we dont find this skill valuable already so why nerf it and lets be clear this did result in a nerf

Elemental weapon, I dont understand this change. This skill was valuable for the fact it was cheaper than force pulse. Now with its drawbacks (No ability altering weap for it and how ancient knowledge works with slotted skills) theres no point to it

Healing ward, I wouldnt mind this if they actually gave sorc a decent heal.... I didnt like having to slot a resto anyway. But now im not slotting a resto and I have no decent heal

Minor toughness removed from warhorn. To be honest i dont like running with warden healers over templar. Every time I run with one I find heals are lacking. Zos thats not a templars are over preforming its wardens are underpreforming. It also has to do with how wardens heal, Trees are a problem, grp healers and tanks run warhorn and barrier. This it the template for literally all end game grps. trees is vital to warden heals and it means sacrificing those. Warden straight up would be incapable of healing without trees, there lacking with them. That means losing uptime on warhorn which means losing out on dmg for no reason.

and for the love of god zos ik i have to say this but dont nerf templar or warhorn more because of that ^ its a warden issue. Buff there non ult heals and we will start liking warden healer. I dont care what is keeping me alive, providing ele drain, major ward/ resovle and increasing my stats with warhorn as long as something is keeping me alive, providing ele drain, major ward/ resolve and increasing my stats with warhorn. As of right now warden isnt doing a great job at the keeping me alive part or the buffing my mag with warhorn....

Crystal frag minimum travel time: this skill is already easy enough to block and if im up close taking risk as a ranged dps it deserves some kind of benefit.

Overload: I want to be able to gank with this, Nighblades can, Bow users can, Templars even can, why is sorc ganking a problem?

Boundless storm decrease duration: This is the mag morph, mag isnt going to be running far with this. It at least sorta helped with sorc mobility if you found it worth slotting. Helped me a ton in vma not burning stam running on crystal phase by running so I could save stam and cc break. On mag toons conserving stam is important.

The worst part of all these nerfs is they don't give anything back.they just smash all magic classes over the head and none of these changes fix the issues that are at large like healers not being needed and it's really sucking the fun out of the game also which is never ever a good thing. i wonder why ZOS just uses bandaid fixes and not going to the root of the issues.i'm not looking forward to this patch at all as it kill most if not all of magic toons.and i've been playing other games instead of this one which sucks.

Falcons Swiftness and morphs now offer 4s of expedition for ~3.5k mag on a class that has no other means of mobility... balanced? No... Magden did not need a nerf... it needed a dozen serious buffs
