28-30 days with big reward at the very end
I voted for the 28-30 with a big reward at the end, predicated on the idea that the big reward is a BIG REWARD. The Murkmire DLC is something I would consider a HUGE reward, but if it were something like the 100k (though as a trader 100k's not too big a deal for me but I know it is for others), or a house, or unlocking a super-awesome dye (akin to the REALLY vibrant colours you can get in dyestamps) for permanent/unlimited use then I'd be ok with it. I realize that due to my schedule I might miss out on those rewards some months, and I'd be bummed, but if it meant that the months I did achieve the logins I got something sweeeeeet, I'd think it was worth it.

If the reward at the end is like, yet another pet (given that by this point I have like 40) then.....meh. Not worth the hassle.

28-30 days wuth big reward on 20-22ish
I missed a few days in September - well, okay, I started actually playing the game I'd bought months ago in the middle of the month; damn you, impulsive Steam sale purchases! - so obviously, I didn't get the big cheese at the end. But based on similar systems in other games I've played, I prefer one that gives small, predictable, and innocuous rewards for logging in each day. Let's say 1,000 gold, or the rough equivalent of it. The problem with that kind of system is it doesn't give a lot of incentive for logging in. "Big" rewards get people to make time to log in, even if they otherwise wouldn't be able to. That... can be somewhat unhealthy, or inconvenient.

The best compromise would be small reward every day, "big" reward at certain thresholds. Throw a big, shiny counter under the daily reward box. Have it be a bar that says "0/10", then "1/10", etc. for each day (doesn't have to be consecutive) that you log in. And then, when it's 10/10? BAM! 50k gold. Or whatever.

If ZOS doesn't want to go with that type of system, then being able to get bigger rewards by logging in anywhere from 20-28 days of a month is the next best option. With all of this being said, it's good to keep in mind that they don't owe us any rewards whatsoever, but because their main goal with this system is to incentivize people to log in, they need to understand the feelings - both positive and negative - that it creates.

The whole point of the Daily Reward system is to encourage people to play ESO - daily if possible - so it makes no sense at all to give out rewards for 2/3 of a month. That defeats the object.

Likewise, handing out the big rewards at the beginning or middle of a month lessens the chance of some players logging in every day

I am sad for the people who, for whatever reason, cannot log in every day but that's life.

IMO the mix of rewards is fairly even across the board. One type will appeal to one player and something different to another. I do not PvP, so for me, the 'big' rewards are Tel Var stones, AP points and Transmute gems. This month my laptop will be glued to my side - figuratively speaking of course.

It is nice to have a big reward to motivate people to log in X number of times a month, but I think it is better to have that reward after a few weeks of log ins so that people do not feel burnt from not being able to log in every day.

It is also nice to have daily rewards every day of the month or else people might feel less inclined to log in the last week of the month once they got what they wanted from the daily reward system. It gives every day something to look forward too.

Personally, I'm fine with any. I do like this months(October) layout though for people who occasionally need to miss a several days.

Really though I expect them to eventually get rid of the daily rewards. I'm fairly sure they are a huge drain on resources with all the tickets being made over people not being able to understand how a calendar works when based on a time zone that is not their own.

I like them changing stucture and type of rewards.

After getting so many crown crates it was fun to concentrate on one big reward, for example.

The change is keeping things fresh.

The idea that the last few in the month are a tapering off is good. The whining of "I only missed x days" was getting too loud.

However, I don't really want anything major in the log-in rewards, as it would be annoying to buy something, and then have it turn up later for free. The crates aren't too bad an idea for the highlights, as the RNG means you have no guarnteed item to miss.

I'd prefer that rewards aren't time restricted. If the next login reward is 500 gold, you get that 500 gold, whether you sign in tomorrow, or a week down the road.

20-23 days reward in a month
I personally like the shorter times as it's less punishing on those who go away or have issues getting online.

I could accept the longer one if the good rewards stop at twenty-something and the rest are just XP scrolls etc. for those who make it online every day the rest of the month.

The main thing I want from the system is costumes, pets, mounts and other collectibles. As long as those come in by the 20th to 23rd day, I am good.

I like the current days but if you miss 3-4 days no rewards during that time but can still collect the end reward. Paying a sub every month we should be able to get it..I don't see the harm. Is someone else going to be bummed that I got a big reward by missing 4 days?

Yes; at its lowest, that is exactly what I mean. Do I get a reward for that? If yes, how many buttons do I need to click?

Nevertheless, clicking one button is never enough for me. Once logged in I must press the next button and the next. Curiosity killed the cat and all that - or Khajiit for that matter. Before I know it, an hour has passed. I think the ESO team is wise enough to realise there are other players like me, for whom clicking one button is not sufficient to sate the appetite. :p
