I understand the Idea behind the the sorc shield nerfs but it seems highly 1 sided

So the I keep reading the devs saying the dont want sorcs to be able to stack high damage and still have high shields. This makes sense and I see the need for adjusting this somehow. However, If this happens I really don't think its fair that heavy armor users can still be tanky as all hell and still dish out massive damage. I mean this is exactly what they say they are trying to avoid. It just doesn't seem right to balance one aspect but not the other. My stam night blade with 5 heavy 2 med hits harder and is nearly as tanky as my shield staking sorc. On top of that I can cloak out of danger. I have all classes so im not really to upset but it just seems like this nerf is hitting magika without balancing stamina

False.

Heavy armor stam user can be tankier and deal same/more damage than medium armor.

Magicka in heavy armor is less damage than in light, making it balanced.

Agreed.. light armor users are being hit with these adjustments tarting sheilds and medium got a slight nerf with shuffle yet heavy remains untouched?

Have you tried parsing in heavy armor on a magicka toon? The dmg is not that great comparatively. All heavy does is help to keep us alive. There is no dmg bonus connected to it (worth mentioning) whatsoever. We rely on niche sets and careful speccing to even make a dent.

Sounds like Cloak is doing most of the mitigation, not heavy armor.
