Dear Devs!

Finally! YES! Thank You! I'm a lazy forum reader / poster, tending just to come here in order to rage about perceived imbalances / nerfs / buffs on classes (like that shield thing. THANKS again for listening to the community!) Admittedly getting emotional over things, I decided to give voice to a less harmful impulse, here: expressing gratefulness.

Jesus, Good Gracious Lord! Really, now, we get actually new pvp content? What? That's amazing stuff!!!! I just want to say thank you!

AvA / PVP is just about the only thing I have been doing in Tamriel since release; played one char, and one char only, and never really left cyrodiil; hated it, when you forced me to PvE (because I suck at it even more than I do sometimes in Cyrodiil or battlegrounds) for undaunted passives; loved it, when you introduced the PvE-PVP-mixture with Imperial City and it's sewers; raged about nerfing combat frenzy and making AVA-Ranks less meaningfull; enjoyed being able to buy jewelry and monster set pieces at the golden vendor... Everything PVP related is great. Even Lag (no, actually not.)
Everything else, I consider a necessary evil mini-game in- or outside the capital province, painfully luring Aldul of the Aldmeri, mighty sorcerer with an attitude, too far away from the realm of the real fighters, emperors, guild leaders. From a fun place with things like hilarious zone chat activities, the "looking for girls", from the arrogant full-time warriors in there to the quiet and the timid, from the scared newbies, to the spies and trolls coming over from factions, the "purple alliance" discussion, the scared learning-resistant that claim to be trolled by "cheaters". Finally, people still playing to win campaigns, caring for every hourly tick... summa summarum: PVP/AVA IS WHATS GREAT ABOUT ESO.

You'll make it even greater with this new mechanics coming with the outposts and destroyable bridges and alternative paths.

    Yes. Those additions to cyrodiil (I just learned about, lol) are enough to spark the needed amount of interest to give it a go.
    The overload change almost kills my guts, though. We deserve to keep that 3rd bar, if you ask me :)
    I hope I got that right: Shields WILL have NO cast time? I keep scanning patch notes, now.

    That’s at least what the devs have stated. We’ll have to see what is in 4.2.2 or 4.2.3 though.

    Until ZOS fixes the lag and the persistent performance issues, I'm struggling to see a real long term future for PVP in Cyrodiil.

    The changes are nice, but goat paths and choke points still have the same fundamental problems as we did before, just in slightly new places.
