What class/build do you use to do world bosses/ vet dungeons solo?

I solo world bosses and normal dungeons with my Magicka Warden, sometimes with the bear and sometimes not, depending on my mood... it's easier to solo everything than to try to group.

A generic crafted magicka or stam dps build can do most np. Occasionally I might swap in 1hs on the back bar of magicka builds to assist with stam recovery or when a lot of blocking was required.

The main issue with these fights is that they're relatively long, so you probably want as much dps as possible. I wouldn't waste my time in heavy.

I tried to do direfrost keep vet solo but unfortunately I couldn't get past the plates as you had to have a second player for it. I had someone log onto an alt character and stand on the plate and then I proceeded to do the rest of the dungeon solo, even scrolled it. Also first boss if feels like you are dancing with it when doing vet solo.
I've done both darkshade cavern 1 and 2 vet solo, 1st I didn't do scroll but second one I did do hardmode without realizing I was doing hardmode. I couldn't figure how to do eldenroot solo or wayrest solo. Vaults of madness I will never do veteran solo because of that second boss... the one that lifts you up... that boss fight takes too long if you do it vet solo. Banished cells 1 I gave up because of tripping on rocks for final boss >_>' I probably could now though. I'm not sure if I have done elden root 1 vet solo, might not given it a shot but can later on. Selene's web I dunno how to do that one vet solo... the ads get a bit too much for me after a certain progression. Blessed crucible I've done vet solo but not hardmode solo. I never tried scroll is all. I dunno if I could.
Crypts of heart 1 I keep falling into water for final boss so yeah >_>' never tried veteran solo for that but breezed through it on normal solo. I'm never doing volenfell vet solo or normal solo again... I get lost in that place lol.

Medium armor stamblade -- always DW front bar and bow back bar. The actual build is only half of it, experience is the other half. Sometimes you have to be really good at kiting while doing damage, other times you can focus on damage without kiting. Learning agro ranges of various mobs (clusters of mobs) is really important ('divide and conquer' when an entire room is filled with clusters of mobs). I have one main set-up, but I also have an alternate set-up that is more useful when encountering a boss mechanic that physically pins me down on the ground (or suspends me in the air) while at the same time damaging me (also useful for boss mechanics that send large add waves my way).

I solo WBs (many, but not all) and many (but not all) dungeons. I even solo'ed (farmed really) the area in Hel Ra starting from the long bridge up to (but not including) the first boss, and I also soloed a portion of AA.

I will say that soloing difficult content has not been easy ... it's been a real challenge as a medium armor stamblade (some are more challenging than others). Sometimes the mechanics makes it difficult, but more often it's the sustain (running out of stamina). Heavy attacking isn't going to help with sustain when you're surrounded by 20 mobs and the boss's AOEs turn more than half of the ground 'red'. The whole thing is a delicate 'dance' that only you can figure out ... you have to believe that you can do it even though it seems impossible at the time. But, after many fails, you do eventually win and the pay-off is the exhilaration you feel when you finally overcome what initially seemed like an insurmountable challenge.

I really miss having the twin shades ... a utility-ability that was so useful/helpful when soloing (it wasn't easy to figure out how to use them because there were no 'how to' videos, but once you figured it out, they were invaluable. Neither of the solo shades are useful in the same way, so I don't bar either one).

Fairly sure it got patched long ago; but Magnum Shot would blow you back through gates. You'd drag a mob to.the gate and boom, there ya go.

If it's not patched I don't recommend you doing it, don't get in trouble.

Yeah the stuff I am counting is the ones you don't use an exploit to complete. Although I do know it is bs when you can do everything solo but a door blocks your way and you know you can do it when someone else helps you get through it... not combat mechanic that stops you either... just dungeon mechanic.
