You get another 60 by training capacity in your riding skills. And the standard slots go up to 140, don't need to buy them with crowns unless you don't have the gold. For a total of 200.

you.. don't have to use crowns. especialy not this early. this is why I complain in guild about how annoyingly obtuse this game is at explaining itself.

you buy bag upgrades in game, 2 ways. you get by 10 slot increases from bag merchant and they are very cheap early on, gradualy increasing in price, until you buy last one at.. 65k i think? to bring you up to 140 slots. and you increase your inventory 1 slot at a time buy going to the stables and buying capacity upgrade for your mount. for 250 gold per day.

now.. if you still want to use crowns, taht's your choice. but.. you don't have to.

total amount of bag space you can get on a single character - is 200. all of it available in game, and i wish the game made it clearer.

You can purchase bag upgrades in game from bag vendors for gold too. I think the limit is 140 slots for each character plus the 60 from the mount upgrades (also for in game gold) and the bank slots are available from bankers up to 200 max. Eso plus doubles both iirc. Haven't subbed since it was required.

Edit: others typing too fast again! ;)

if you look on the map, it'll be at a merchant area, hover over the Scales icon and look for "pack merchant".

Ebonheart? as in city or alliance? there are bag merchants usualy in every large city, you can open your map and look for scale icons - mouse over them (or equivalent with controller) to see the text describing which merchants are in that particular market hub, one of those bound to be a bag merchant. well.. pack merchant its actualy called. I can't seem to find one in Ebonheart city, but there is one in davon watch. if you open up the map, there is a circular road on it - there are various merchants all the way around it. pack merchant should be around that area.

There are bag merchants in almost about every town that has a crafting center. There are some services that aren't in every town; for example, there is no dye station in Davon's Watch, but there is a bank. There is no bank in Ebonheart, but there is a dye station. Bag merchants are usually easy to find; their banner has a bag symbol.

For Ebonheart Pact the very first one you find in the EP storyline is in Bleakrock, in the crafting area. When you get to Davon's Watch, the stand is on the side of town where the fountain is, behind the Mage's guild mystic tent, near the wall.

Forgot to say; start saving gold. The first few upgrades are cheap; by the time you max it out, you'll be whimpering a lot. If you're willing to spend crowns, I'd wait until the last couple of upgrades. The final upgrade runs 64,500 gold. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Pack_Merchants

You can increase your bank space as well. The last bank upgrades won't make you whimper, at least the cost on my first character didn't make me whimper, it made me cry. The good thing is that your bank space is account wide, unlike the personal inventory that you have to upgrade for each character. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Banks

You will get the first bag upgrade as part of the leveling rewards, provided you haven't bought an upgrade already. I think the reward is at level 7.

I don't think there is a bag merchant in Ebonhart. There is on in Davons watch to the left of one on the gates (the one not near the guild store) in one of the tents in back

Yeah, one gripe about Stonefalls, is that services in that zone are broken up into strange places.
