✭They killed a couple birds with this one stone huh. They will sell a metric butt-ton of extra copies of the Summerset expansion now, including to those who would have waited for it to go on ESO+ in a year, the same way Morrowind did. And by making the house free instead of grossly expensive (Pricey Dawnlight Palace et al) they won't induce as much rage over the fact that such a gigantic place will still be stuck with the same 700 furnishing limit.

She: I'm excited about the summerfall event, did you make the achievement?
No, i'm too lazy for that
She: What? It's not just for you selfish pig i want that house, when I tell you teleport to me to make the achievement in your two accounts.
Only my wife talks to me like that and now she too, i'm getting weak.

Shaie✭✭✭Did I just read this correctly? People still get the achievement even if they didn't do it? Reason I am asking is my daughter sees me doing this on PC. She plays on Xbox but doesn't have Summerset yet. She will not get paid until after the event is done. So if she gets this before Oct, she will get the pet, horse and mansion? Is this correct?
Does she have to go to Summerset to activate it or can she be in Morrowind where she is now?
Sending you a hug to help the depression move away a bit. Your daughter needs only to log into the game AFTER purchasing Summerset and BEFORE October 7th in order to receive the gifts.
@Universe - Wow, just wow. So something can't be special if you are not the only person who has it? I feel sorry for you. Every time I see the pony, mount or go to my house I will remember that we have these things because we all (well most of us anyway) worked together to get them. For me, that makes them MORE special than if only the 1% had them.
@ArchMikem - You could put the horse & pony in the stables or in one of your closets...

As far as those who intentionally did not participate still getting the items, are you happy? I know I will not shed one tear when you come crying back here (and in zone chat) about how you are being trolled to Oblivion for flaunting the items you intentionally did nothing to help obtain.
And insofar as that goes, I am pretty sure that no one who participated is upset over the folks who just got or will get Summerset in the next few days getting the prizes. I know I'm not, I am very glad that I could help make this possible for others who, for whatever reason, were unable to participate. For those who will also get the items even though they refused to participate, well I just wish them the best of luck in their miserable lives (they MUST be miserable, because I can't see how anyone who is happy & satisfied in their life would refuse to work with others for the greater good).
My apologies to Gina & the forum CMs as well as to ZoS for honestly believing that we were set up to fail this event. Thank you for indeed making the mysterious 100% attainable & thank you for giving such awesome goodies for it! (I mean really, when you think about it, they could have given a smaller home & still made people happy - houses are expensive!) The event was a lot of fun & it was so cool to see everyone come together to do it! You could tell when NA players were on EU - they had names like "Gimme Dat House", "For-the-Mount" & "I Want To Win", which made me cringe a little but also laugh. For our part (mine & hubby) we actually created characters like we ALWAYS do, which meant that it took nearly as long to get our characters "just right" as it did to do the event!
(Wouldn't it be funny if the mysterious 100% had NOTHING to do with the achievement & everything to do with how many copies of Summerset & ESO+ were purchased?

I collect real collectibles (not infinitely replicable digital "collectibles"), and one of my most valued and treasured items, in a collection spanning 20+years and many many thousands of dollars is a mass produced item that cost about $150.
The value of something you own doesn't decrease merely because someone else has one too.6 -
