In keeping Verandis alive during the Lightless Remnant quest does it ever end? I have been fighting nonstop for over twenty minutes now; and, that is no freaking exaggeration. Is it glitched?

You aren't entirely clear about which portion of the quest this is. I'm guessing that you are on the part where you have to protect Verandis while he depowers the blood ward and you have to fight gargoyles and waves of skeletons in a room with statues? If so, I've put the solution below.

If so, Verandis tells you before the fight that you have to destroy the statues. Kite the gargoyles over to the statues so that the gargoyle will destroy them. Thanks, but I finally figured it out. In the heat of battle, the last thing that I remember to do is read all of the writing on the monitor. I am just trying to stay alive. Anyway, thanks for responding.
