    Baking powder? Exsqueeze me?

Are PvP sets useless? In PvE definitely. They aren't very good in PvP either but the ideas are good. I'd like to see a LOT more PvP-only sets. That would help counter the nerfs that affect the PvE peeps, a little bit, at least.

I haven't been that impressed with the PvP gear myself. I've tried a few of the sets out, and for the most part they've been pretty underwhelming. So I can understand why so many guilds you look at probably just slap impenetrable on PvE sets.

I would still love to see PvE trials sets disabled in PvP and have PvP (Imperial City?) offer it's own interesting ability altering weapons or proc sets (if they must exist).

Depends on the set. Most sets are outright useless. Some sets are decent in PVP, some are decent in PVE. A few are good in PVP, and a few are good in PVE.

What? You mean sets that come from Cyrodiil?

If so, then yeah there is more sets from pve side of things that can be used for pvp, with the proper traits for your playstyle of course. Crafted sets also, those are not "pve only" by design, many crafted sets are in big use at pvp.

The only PvP sets I've ever used in PvP are Vicious Death and Morag Tong.

I have a set of Afflicted that I intend to use on one of my Argonians but that is just for a fun build to use while questing in Murkmire.

I use transmutation on my PvP healer.

I tried that set out once when I was attempting to make a PvP healer. It wasn't awful.

Trans is a great set. Crit resistance is huge in pvp, it's why we all wewear impen. Plus it's a defensive and a sustain set with the 2 regen traits allowing you to build more damage. Trans is a great set

Whay do they not fix this problen. whay even give out lotcrates whit pvp gear it more or less useless. Pvp gear should allways be beter for pvp and pve ger beter for pvp. if u are pve orgentrnted and whant to play pvp . Start farming pvp gear. And the way around..This is still an mmorpg so the hole point of the game is try to get beter and beter gear for you charter and farming cp intill you die!

It wasn't bad like i said. One of the few PvP sets I tried that I thought was actually worth putting on.

My issue is more with healers in PvP generally, which is probably something I shouldn't get into here. I don't want to derail this guy's thread.

There are many good PvP sets. Fury, Ravager, Transmutation, and Vicious Death are all good. Elf Bane gets play on some Magicka builds using a lot of skills that do fire damage. Also, Fasalla’s for defile tanks.

I don't really see sets in categories, except for the weights, light/medium/heavy.
Just because a set drops in PvP doesn't mean it has to be used in PvP. Same with sets in PvE. Crafted sets can be some of the best.
I think that's one of the strengths of this game.

Hundings rage + Spriggans works for everything why use anything else *shrug*

it is interesting that there is no PVP equivalent to Minor Slayer/Aegis.

Personally, I just consider anything with the Impenetrable trait to be PVP gear.

A set is good when you play with. I mean, if the 5pieces bonus says "give X more dmg on crits", so you have to maximise your %crits, and if you dont your set is useless...

A lot of pvp sets are working like that, you have to use your brain to make it interesting.

With trait change all gear is PvP gear.

Same here. On the same token, Impregnable Armor is another option for people to use.

    Bone Pirate's Tatters + Seventh Legion's Brute.
