I just think it's nice that ZOS is doing events that require more than people farming dark anchors or world bosses or killing things. An event that brings the community together and has people helping one another achieve a common goal. Would be nice to see other similar events in the future.

    Agree 100%
I hope that, should we miss the 100% target, we'll still get other events like this

I am not big on glowy pets/mounts and huge fancy elven houses, but it's free and gives the community something to work together on in a peaceful manner, I hope they do this more often and it is sad to see *** actually actively campaigning to NOT do the event. Like if you don't care/don't want to do the event fine, but to actively hurt people because of some pity spite is really low.

Nice idea for an event - accessible to everyone and the community gets the reward together.

On a side note: why so much hate for these PTS changes? I really can't wrap my head around it. I've been on the PTS and it's really not that bad. They haven't "broken PvE" or "dramatically changed the direction of the game". They just made some balance changes, some of which will probably not even make it through to the live server.

Already have the achievment and I have no intentions of buying another copy of the game or making NA characters to do them again. Even if we get the house I'll never use it I already have 20 houses that never get used other than for free porting.

I'm personally tired of mounts that are on fire, or have lightning shooting out their eyes, and that really have no place in the Elder Scrolls. It's WoW-style skins and effects, imho. The house? I don't even have an inn room. Not my thing. It's a marketing push, pure and simple, and I am not jumping through hoops to be a part of that.

I suppose ultimately I'm just supremely disheartened with the changes that are coming in the next update. So tired of nerfs, and developers who seem to have lost touch with their game. Too much focus on their Cash Shop, and the rest of the game seems to be suffering for it.

I'm taking a break as well, and will check back to see if things improve at the end of winter.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

They are nerfing the Warden bear by 30%. The Warden. It's the red-headed stepchild of all the classes. That's not balance. The big marketing push for Morrowwind was playing the new class and having a massive bear at your side. Now they are making a change where no one will use their pet. Utterly mind boggling. And no, Gina's explanation doesn't make sense. Just because she put words out there, it still doesn't justify "balance" to nuke the Warden's identity of the bear.

For myself, I don’t like any of the rewards but I DO like community events. Participating in this event shows that I support these kinds of stress free fun events and hopefully will encourage more in the future. More community events, more GMs in game, more parties, more rewards. Maybe one day they’ll even offer something I value. If I don’t show up for this one I have no right to complain if they never do it again.

I have two accounts, as does my wife and our son has his own account. We have each, on both servers, all accounts completed the event. So that is 3 people, 10 completes (trusting that I have done the math correct).

We very much liked joining in with this event.

However the poll linked the event to the house, and to be honest I am not that interested in the house. Too big for an individual.

I think it's nice that these events bring people together; I like the events where you are helping one another to achieve a common goal. My favourite is next; the Halloween event.

Don't care about another pet. A neon one at that.

Don't care about the mount. A neon one at that with ugly armor that can't be removed.

Don't care about the house. AD style. Too big and only 700 slots to fill it. We can never decorate it the way we want. I guess I can dump all my extra furniture in it though and empty my house storage. So there is that.

But. I still ran the achievement on both servers. Doing my part and all that.
