Psijic Order Skill Time Breach is just terrible abyssal

hello everyone

i just buy Summerset and try to unlock everything

i have the skill line but all skill are lock , i ear to make xp you need to do the Time Breach ? but i feel is so boring and abyssal , also the map are in my quest item so annoying to open

any other way to grind xp ?

You don't need XP to open up the Psijiic skill line, you have to do all those mind-numbing time breach closures. That's the only way to be able to unlock any of those skills.

Think Summerset, Craglorn plus all the regular zones in the game.

Addon named map pins shows the locations. When installed, open your map, go to filters and scroll down the bottom and you'll see a box for time rifts, tick it.

He knows what he's doing guys - he's just saying this is a boring way to level up the skill line versus xp levelling. I wholeheartedly agree.

This is pretty much exactly how the brotherhood and thieves guild skill line leveling was so.......... I believe this skill line doesn't take as long to level as the others too. I could totally be wrong about that though. If you want to lvl the skill line just do the time breaches and move on with your life. :P

So far I have done it on 3 characters, some old some new. I can tell you exactly, that:

If you have most zones explored and wayshrines discovered it takes 4-5 hours (with 60 points in mount speed).

If it's a fairly new character with most zones unexplored it's around 10-11 hours to complete all time breaches and max out the skill line (don't forget you will need 20 skillpoints available to unlock all skills, morphs and passives - fairly easy if you pick up the shards along the way).

I also do the mages guild skill line while I'm hunting breaches, since books are everywhere.

Have fun and remember....most of the skills are fun at first, but then you realise there is nothing special to them, apart from time stop, which is only useful in PvP and very clunky to use. Meditate has a nice animation though

Oh gods, this questline

It's the least fun I've had in this game so far, and that includes doing the horrid stealth quest on a sorc in Orsinium.

I hope Zos never does anything like this again. Or at least adds some fun story quests in between like the Mages' Guild. Then lights the Augur on fire.

... I actually enjoyed the quests, but thats because of the augur, I enjoyed its comments a tons haha. I find collecting mage books to be even more dreadful, a worse grind and a boring one if you ask me. Oh well.

The books were a little annoying even with the add-on, but I didn't have to go too far off course when I was questing to find most of them. I really enjoyed the Sheogorath questline-- some of the storytelling was extremely creative. Sadly, the Psijics quests didn't have any fun interludes. Just some chatting on Arteum then going back to the same places I'd already mapped-- mostly for the Mages' Guild

I think the line, like many others, was probably intended to be done along side normal gameplay, not so much grinded out in one or two sittings.

If you look at it from that perspective, it really wouldn't be too bad.

Seems a little uninspired, since there are only two things you ever really do, but other than that...

You only need XP to level the skills themselves.

Did it on the first character just using the map. The boundaries on the drawn map are sometimes not clear, for example you can't make out easily if a line it's the zone limit or a road. I got stuck for about 10 minutes on one of the portals in the Alik'r, that was more southwards than you could have said from the map. But generally I found it quite easy to do. The Augur of the Obscure gives you some hints about the location of the breach, like "old tower" or "waterfall" so if you know the zone a little it should be pretty easy to find them. One of the most annoying part was one of the "pieces of the staff" quests, in Deshaan, as it had more than the usual number of way-points, and it was in a zone with plenty of ghosts that looked almost the same as those. I got distracted and I had to restart that a couple of times. But other than that, it's pretty simple. The quest line is terribly boring though. On the next 5 chars I did the Psijic skill line using an addon called Map Pins to speed things up. On average it took me 3-4 hours per character to do all 10 quests using that addon and skipping quest dialogue.

Time stop is very strong in pvp as so is meditate.

One of the skills is pretty much needed for dps character in competitive endgame.
