This solution also gives unique chance to double check all shields and prevent certain playstyles from suddenly raising up (like 60k HP 30k resistances Blazing Shield spammers).

Critable shields if not compensated by something else and im not talking armor mitigation will be to weak. Just go and fully buff you dmg and then see the tooltip of your spammable + LA dmg, I bet i will be over 10k easy, meaning 1 spammable weave will drop your shield no problemo.
Dont point me to HA sets because it simply can not work on mag Sorc.

Crit-able shields are still better then 1 second cast time shields. Shieldstacking was an issue and fact that they're nerfing shields isnt something suprising but the thing is how to nerf shields to not make them completly useless. It's not like from now on every dmg done to You shields will be on crit. Yes if You'll take crit dmg on shields it'll hit 30-40% stronger but also take under consideration that non crit dmg will hit for less since shields having spell/physical resistances means even after applying enemies penetration You'll still be left with 5-10k resists which is a buff especially in non CP enviroment where people have less crit chance and penetration and shields were really in bad shape. It's also of course nerf to shields in CP enviroment where shielkdstacking nerf was in fact needed. Dont be crybaby and understand that some things have to change in order to have balance and the only thing is how those things will get changed tweaked. Shields no longer having crit resistance is something shield users can work around 1 second cast time is just overkill.
