See I don't agree with the nerf to cloak, because the real problem are sustains sets like shackle braker amberplasm and prisioners rags, for example if I run bone.p and hulking I am not going to be able to spam cloak like most of you do... Now if there was a change like that it would ruin it for people that don't run those magic sustain sets...
Yeah, as a magsorc main, cloak isn't really unfair in a duel or small scale, or at least it isn't any more unfair than having large damage shields (instant cast).
Usually I enjoy fighting sNB because it's a battle of who has faster reflexes and who gets cocky first.
But I do thank the OP for standing up to the shield nerfs. As fellows in the most hated pvp classes, I appreciate the support.

Stamblade still functions the way it did 3 years ago, performs too well and you’re an expert player on it - especially in 1v1’s. Magsorcs now have to take an entierly different approach, and I think it‘s too early to over sensationalize things by saying: „Fighting them is a walk in the park now“. There will be improvements done to the cast time (probably uninterruptable) - and there is sets that allow mitigation for mentioned cast time and/or during shield down and uptime. People, as you said, will figure out a way to make it viable again, the class still has more good things going for it than other classes. The playstyle you mentioned was so „enjoyable“ to many because it simply and blatantly overperformed and was one of the easier playstyles to master. The game will not be slower paced because of this. The riddance of overperformant mechanics that stale build diversity and playstyles is a good thing too, I hope you get to aknowledge that.
Cloak in it‘s current state overperforms with the force miss (poor fix to the uncloaking problematic) and should be overhauled too. It should surpress regeneration as it already surpresses dot‘s. And certain stuff like a POTL explosion should break it, just as curse does. In fact I‘d also like to see stuff such as Meteors not simply vanish due cloak and function as occasional counter.
