Well, in a coordinated group just do not use them, obvious choice, but they can provide good diversity in PVP, and with the changes to the Maw, Shadowrend is shadowed by it.

It's not supposed to do damage. I'm pretty sure Shadowrend does more damage than shadow image so I'm not sure why you'd even really ask. The set is fine as is

I asked because i tested it on PTS along with Maw of infernal and the Tail swipe is plain useless, it misses most of the time, and unlike the Daedroth, the Shadowrend does not even focus the target with priorty. And Shadow image is a skill, Shadowrend takes up two slots and comparing it to other effects it is quite sub-par. It does not even place the maim effect on the corect target msot of the time, as it is now it only is usefull in 1 vs 1 pvp where there is no other target and in PVE for tanks as a way to apply minor maim, but it can be much more like Maw, that is usefull for all classes.

What we lack is diversity, yeah we could as well just use the Maw and that is what i will be doing, i want to make a point that there could very easily be more on par alternatives. This is true not only to Shadowrend, there are other sets that have been forgoten and need a rework but that is not the topic here.

Shadow rend gives you the ability to use necropotence on classes like DK and templar so it WILL NOT be buffed in all likelihood.

There are a lot of other more consistent set choices to run than to rely on the proc of the set for the buff, and so far i have barely seen players using the set even in pvp, yet alone Dragon Knights with it.
And lets say that even if that is something someone will go with it and necropotence, it is not efficient enough that Shadowrend getting a decent AOE (and targeting that should have been there) will buff the build in any way. Hell, i bet it as a set won't even make it to the top but at least it will see more use.

Something like that but without the Stun, that will make it too strong of a set i think.
Just the Jump so it has a good way to apply minor maim AOE and gap close. The jump should trigger when its target is X meters away and the player is targeting them. And regarding Dmg, it should do a bit lower dmg than tailswipe as it will be easier to hit.
