This strikes me as being perfectly acceptable, if the duration of Cloak is tripled or longer
if the duration was sufficient for the player to get back into crouched stealth, it could dramatically change the dynamics of stealth gameplay
not sure about the Dark Cloak morph tho, that leads into questions about Green Dragon Blood since Shadowy Disguise is the only invisible morph now

on shields tho, is hard to tell if it was the ppl soloing dlc dungeons and manticoras or the pvp ppl w/ a blue healthbar who r responsible. lets blame the guy who made a "nerf sorc" - thread when he got killed by a cliffracer spamming pet-sorc.

and in sprirt of "dont nerf, buff", how about shields and cloaks and wings and bols as mages or fightersguild skills?
dodgeroll consumes the higher one stam or mag, shields scale with highest pool and everyone gets a free sloads-set from daily login rewards.

You have CP to counter shields, 0 resistances on shield while i have to use a pot and waist precious resourses to find a cloak whineblade like you. So, wasting stamina-magica-health for 15 sec if you right before my eyes if perfectly reasonable.

BUT whineblades need shieldbreaker+cast time shields and im pretty sure that you will find something else to whine about sorcs.

Nerf to one defensive? NERF TO ALL DEFENSIVES

Since what I use cloak most for is sneaking past NPCs for the "oooh, imma ninja!" feeling... in PvP its the easiest-to-defeat defense skill, often useless, broken by any damage, broken by any number of effects skills of abilities... anyone prepared will not be very fazed by cloaking in Cyrodil.
But often the sneaky sneaks take longer then cloak lasts, and you have to recast it in the middle of the sneaking to keep your sneakyness... which would be a problem with a cast time.

Even though im pretty sure this is a troll post because of shields..... No it shouldn't. It should have a cost increase like streak. The fact that it does not by now is mind boggling.

But cloak is comparable to streak not shields.

I know several nightblades that can make my 14sec potion go wasted, because they know how to play unlike you who thinks shieldbreaker is balanced. The trick is: Cast shade, roll roll roll get max range form it TELEPORT TO SHADE and go the other way around boom, pot gone wasted.

You have shieldbreaker+CP to counter shields. You have more than enough to counter shields, yet you cry. How bad can you be?

Shield gets a cast time? Cloak will get one too, all defensive must get for game to be BALANCED.

A cast time would be fine. Good nbs would still be able to utilize it. Plus they would probably increase the time and add some extra effect.

This threat is for nightblades, you used to be a nightblade you still are a whineblade in behavior may not in class though.
