Auto looting Problem

I know this may not be the right place to post this, but I wasn't sure where to do it.
When I turned on auto loot I noticed there is no notification that tells you what your character has looted from the enemy or group of enemies. I'm not a big fan of this. I just wanted to see what other people thought. I don't want to have to press R every time I chop wood, mine ore, collect some jute, or loot a body. But I'd also like to see how many of those items i'm farming at a node or what I'm getting from those bodies even when I auto loot. Just a thought.
