Client Freezing Issue
I'm wondering if anyone else has run into the issue of their client not opening after clicking the shortcut, thus resulting in your entire computer freezing? This has happened to me multiple times and I'm not sure how to fix it.

That's not a very polite way to respond to someone who is asking for help. You don't have to be rude about it, but I also never saw anything in the FAQ page that answered my question.1

Reinstalled the launcher and now the play button is grey. They said to look for a file called 'live' which I do not have.0

neocomab16_ESO✭✭✭first off, same problem. can only start the game via eso.exe which is no problem until they patch again. then I'm probably ***.
second, instead of discussing just post the link to said entry? saves time for everyone.
/edit. the FAQ does not deal with said problem. the FAQ only addresses a stuck launcher that tries to update itself all the time.
Our problem however is that after clicking the launcher icon, nothing happens. For me in particular win8 starts making an annoying sound telling me that the launcher simply does no longer respond and thus not work anymore. As I said, can work around it but once they patch ....I'm done
