Really ?

A room with apporx. 8 Spiders where you have to catch 5 tons of players just for this room and some minutes for the spiders to respawn?

Could you not push the amount of spiders / the respawn time?

Edit: Just finished the quest. The rest of this questline is nice except the mentioned problem.

And then you have the players on the next part killing the spiders you're trying to capture.... Really not well thought out by the devs.

This quest is awfully desgined at this part, and should be changed.

Just finished this quest. It seriously needs to either be made a solo instance or have the respawn rate massively upped. I'd probably go with solo instance as it would be easier to balance, at the moment you will spend about 20 mins running in circles looking for things to control or kill because of low mob density and tons of players trying to complete it.

Same could be said about a majority of "dungeons", especially quest-related ones. This mass zergfest of public and quest dungeons causes so many problems. Bot farmers, broken objectives, immersion and story being trivialized, bosses dying before you can get a hit on one of them, difficulty and strategy being trivialized or rendered moot, etc. These areas should be private but for those you invite. There's plenty of open world areas for people to enjoy with strangers, but this takes the cake. Not only that, the epitome of Elder Scrolls delving was overcoming encounters by yourself. That experience is totally wrecked. And spare me the line about this being an MMO. Again, plenty of open world socializing can be had.

If you haven't played this dungeon you could feel that way. However if you've played this dungeon compared to the rest of the public dungeons, you'll realize this one is far different than the rest. The way this one is set up leads you to running in circles with literally nothing to do for most of the time. Other dungeons are busy with lots of killing etc, but the objectives don't have you killing or interacting with the same low density mobs for two checkpoints in a row. This one is really poorly designed and a cut below the rest.

Not doubting you in the least. Just a symptom of the system that is one of the most complained about "features" of this game.

This is hands down the worst thought out quest in any game I've ever played. I can get past bugs and such, but how on earth does something like this not get shot down when it enters your brain as a possible design for a quest.
