I'm altogether neutral about this as I await the results of other class' sustain- what do you guys think about this? Self ele drain. Impale, Ele weapon and Merciless all got hit with cost nerfs, drain in the current patch would usually hover around 300 less. This was in Master Architect + Spell Strategist- which, by the way has an excellent uptime and is essentially just 500 spell damage with no real stipulation other than being purely single target, kind of like a Magicka Relequen.

Here's another, though with using an Absorb enchant on the backbar.

I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing, is my first impression. That NB's should be more in line with other class' sustain sounds good to me, though at a cursory glance it may be a tad much. With good group support such as Worm and Orbs however I think sustain would be all around fine.

    @clv can you take a picture of what the siphoning strikes morph does now on the pts? Does it still restore Magicka with every light attack and when it expires in addition to the heavy attack now?

    I wouldn’t call a 300+ magicka drain increase ‘fine’.

    All these rumblings of ‘we want to bring other classes up to where nightblade is’ was a crock of sour soothers.

    I think it is, but now heavies restores more, wish stave heavies wouldnt suck, btw how much now ele costs?

    To be completely honest I feel that this heavy attack change is either poorly worded or just completely negligible, in that a heavy will restore an additional 106 Magicka, that doesn't mean a lot to me and i'm doubtless that it means very little to anyone. fezwmxy89coo.png

    The health you get back is great but the magic return for a heavy is terrible. I still tend to use ele drain over SA in pvp

    @clv , can you test real quick how much a heavy attack restores when siphoning is active and let us know If it’s just 100 more or double the heavy attack restore?

    For Magicka if you pull off a heavy attack in PvP you deserve a bloody medal not like 3-4k resources

    DW heavy attacks are so nice and fluid I love them but they are for stamina only
