best medium stamina dd sets for PVP?

What are the best medium sets for stamina-dds for PVP in Cyrodiil? (templar or dragon knight)
Usually those basic sets are recommended:
Shacklebreaker, Draugr Hulk, Bone Pirate's Tatters
Are there even better ones?

✭PvP builds are all about synergy; while there are some that work well across multiple classes & builds (most you linked above), they are not the best for everyone's build, simply the most commonly used. So there's not going to be much to be gained by asking which is "the best for stam".2 -

Real talk tho, the best best medium damage sets are Automaton, Spriggans, Bone Pirate imo. Poisonous serpent is also very strong but a sleeper set since it’s a trial drop. I don’t see myself running anything else since with jelwery crafting you can run the big damage heavy armor sets in medium. Since for some reason heavy sets give way more damage. Two great crafted options are hundings and night mothers gaze.2 -

Stamplar, aka 'Stapler', has great passive damage, healing & the best active mitigation for DoTs via ritual as well as the best skill available to generate procs from melee damage - jabs. It's Achille's heal is its terrible, terrible sustain.
The above in mind, Bone Pirate is going to be at the top of your list, by a mile, because of its fabulous sustain, even though you listed it already, consider it your best friend. There are alternatives to B0n3r Pir@t3 if you can manage Meditate, but thats trickier.
From bone pirate as a baseline, you gotta think "do I want more damage or suvivability?" for your second set; if being more of a glass cannon is your thing (like, a huge cannon) Ravager is a really great option (note it helps to have the $ummerset expansion to run Ravager as this will allow you to run the set in medium armor by transmuting Ravager jewelry, b/c Zo$ paywalled jewelrycrafting behind this DLC). Spriggans Agility are also good Stamplar options.
If you are dying too much to your liking, Fortified brass & Impregnable Armor or Armor Master will take care if squishyness.
Can't decide between survivability or more dmg? Veiled Heritance & Shacklebreaker are good middle of the road options, as they provide some form of damage & mitigation (Shacklebreaker's mitigation comes in the form of magicka/magregen buffs - more rituals = more living).
My stamplar currently uses: Bone Pirate, Ravager & Troll King, it's on the squishy side but hits like a truck.

+1, This is an excellent build especially for CP & highlights Senche as another dmg/sustain option (wouldn't take it into no-CP BGs or Sotha personally though).1 -

✭On my stamDK I like Ward of cyrodiil if you're missing defile (like bow w/o snipe/2h or dw/2h). Spriggan's is decent. Prisoner's is pretty awesome if you use a lot of magicka abilities.
Bow + Morag tong + sheer venom is fun, but snipe is hard to use effectively unless you're ganking. Clever alchemist is ok but also hard to use imo.0 -

As someone who's long time Stamplar main is a Redguard, Orc is unequivocally better. Think about it. Redguard gives you better sustain and a bit more (4%) max stamina. Orc gives you a bit less stamina at 6%, but also gives you 6% health alongside it. It gives you better healing (huge) AND health regen (great synergy with gold food), and it gives you sprint speed+cost reduction AND extra physical damage. Literally every single Orc passive gives multiple buffs. And they all happen to be completely conducive to the Stamplar (and really any Stamina) play style- survivability, mobility, and damage.The one advantage Redguard confers in better sustain also happens to be the easiest thing to build for or compensate for in the game. Orc's advantages are much more difficult to acquire though gear and such.
