It makes sense if this is the case though. It seems to be a much stronger set up.
Dizzing swing is ***.
Heroic slash + bash does the same damage and give you much more.
Why people can't see it ? Console player cannot make it for technical reasons ?

Bash on console is clunky.
You have to hold block then use the light attack button. So not only is it clunky, because you hit block it cuts off stam regen.

Yeah I tried the heroic/bash combo and hated it because of that reason. I used to hate dizzy swing too but I like it now, it's still high damage and a cc. I just think dizzy benefits tankier setups more. I tried it a lot with a more burst setup and it was too frustrating, by time I landed dizzy I would have already taken too much dmg. Now though I can play with it fine unless it's a stamblade running through my body the whole fight.

With that said, does dual wield/ two handed medium armor stam sorc work well?
You and @del9 are probably the only two left.

Could’ve farmed tel var for mats to craft speed pots
And it works well if you know how to deal with being squishy. Speed helps with that though but with no swift or speed pots you’re going to get hit with a lot of things you could avoid.

But this playstyle is literally just about staying alive and running around until your DB is up. You don't have great sustained pressure apart from rending slashes and poisons in between, so masters DW is almost a necessity. Stam sorc does not have a class spammable, and imbue weapon is *** on console when you are lagging and light attacks literally just don't register.
2H with dizzying is only good if you run speed pots and have access to a snare. It makes dizzying swing waaaay easier to land. I run 2h + s + B and heroic slash snare + speed pots makes dizzying much, MUCH easier to land. If i didn't use a snare + speed pot combo, it would honestly be a terrible skill. But the 2h dizzying playstyle at least feels like you can do something when dawnbreaker isn't up.
so to sum it up, DW better for group play and synergizes better with stam sorc's ability to be speedy and survive long enough to get a DB + spin to win combo up. 2H better for 1v1 in open field but requires snares + speed pots
Lately I´ve been running:5 Heavy, 1 Medium, 1 Light
- 5 Clever Alchemist (CA)
- 5 Mechanical Acuity (MA)
- Bloodspawn (can be replaced with Balorgh for even more damage)
- Random 2- hander on the backbar for Forward Momentum (FM)
All impenetrable with tristat enchant on big pieces, and max stamina on small pieces.
Running 3 Swift and dual-wield MA on the frontbar (Spin2Win setup). Basically a "Hit and Run" playstyle where you go in try to cause as much damage as possible and then get out. Having 3x swift + major/minor expedition + FM + Immovable makes you nearly untouchable. Unless another stamsorc is running something similar in terms of swift, you can escape without any issues.
I´ve tried it mainly in BG´s where you have a lot of "line of sight" opportunities, otherwise it´s a really fun setup for group play if you can coordinate your ultimate (Dawnbreaker) with your teammates ultimates. In terms of skills I use:
Frontbar (dual-wield): Vigor, Hurricane, Crit-Surge, Blood Craze, Steel Tornado, Dawnbreaker of Smithing
Backbar (2-hander): Dark Deal, Ball of Lightning, Forward Momentum, Deep Thoughts, Stampede, Temporal Guard
