I never played before changes to crystal frags and only have a magsorc toon. From that perspective it’s my favorite skill. So satisfying to use. I get an audio and visual cue when it procs so I fire it off constantly since I’m procing it weaving my spammable (one of the destruction staff abilities, the first one can’t remember what it’s called). Like I shoot if off every couple or three seconds. Then the satisfying sound. The sound the addon makes when it procs has become an integral part of my combat experience. Combat would be dull to me without that sound.
Just adding a new player perspective. I’ve never wanted a CC on it (never had it with it) but I feel like it should have some splash damage. But I’m thinking of cool factor not balance. Splash damage be OP. So don’t burn me down please.

Frag was literally the most counterable cc in the game.

Oh and the sorc's hand glowed purple so you knew it was coming.
Removing the cc of frag wouldn't of changed anything about the 'poor sap you hit like a machine gun' because of cc immunity. The fact you can proc 3 times in 3 skills or 0 times in 10 hasn't changed.
