Increase the cost reduction from light / medium armor to 3% per piece of armor slotted, up from 2%, resulting in an additional 5 to 7% cost reduction to their abilities depending on how many light / medium armor pieces are slotted.
How does this solve the problem? Nightblades are currently capable of sustaining a full light attack rotation with little or no investment at all in most situations in endgame situations. The added sustain is irrelevant to them, as they can't invest in increased damage anyway.
For all the other specs, this will make it easier to sustain rotations with a higher focus on light attacks, resulting in an overall damage increase. This might also reenable builds that became unsustainable with Morrowind, such as the Maelstrom daggers setups, among many others.
It also has the benefit of raising the floor since inexperienced players are more likely to make mistakes resulting in wasting a lot of resources.

I don't know if stamsorc has better sustain, but I'm running out even on 3mil dummy. I suppose I might give it another go to see what I could possibly have missed.

I'm not a redguard, that might be it, lack of Adrenaline Rush may be the difference. Are you trying on redguard, perchance?
John_Falstaff wrote: »@LiquidPony , hrm, that would be the issue then. >.< Adrenaline Rush amounts to ~316 stamina regen, just shy of two regen glyphs on jewelry (or closer to a glyph and a half with medium armor bonuses). I can sustain with two glyphs just fine, but I don't think it makes light attack rotation viable if I have to sacrifice three hundred weapon damage for it. ^^
I understand that redguard is meta. But 'just switch to redguard' isn't a solution to stamina problems. I do care about the race I picked. ^^

While I'd promote the idea, I doubt this is going to happen. We screamed hard for buffs to light and medium armor to make them more relevant in pvp,and we got them to look at equalising sustain at least. I guess we'll see on Monday how it goes. If the old arena weapons get a 1 pc bonus back it might make them more relevant either way.
