Will those skills get exp if i don't have it open?
Decided to use a resto staff as my secondary but i don't want to have it constantly open just to level it. does it level if i don't have it open?

Drazhar14✭✭✭✭✭I'd like to know the answer to this also. For example, when I turn in a quest, does that exp get divided between both my skillbars and weapons, or just my current one?0 -
ijRoberts✭✭✭I believe XP only applies to the item you've equipped. So, if you want to level your secondary weapon, but not necessarily use it, just swap out the weapons right before you turn in quests.
This also works for skill lines. Whatever is on your skill line is what is gaining experience whether you use it or not.1 -

You will only get exp for the skills in the action bar you have at the time.
So before you hand a quest in, change to the weapon you want that has the skills in the action bar that you want to give the exp to.0
