I have no wound I'm merely pointing out how uber restrictive my guild is to some people i have no wish to cause offence just provide a point of clarity some people don't know the guild rules of dk or golden gryphons I just don't want people to think the wrong things about us As I said may your god walk with you. Some just don't want to resort to gate camping and hiding behind multi raid PVdoor blobs as a means of finding a challenge.

Others think that winning as a team is more important than finding new footage to edit into 1vx montages.

Instead such 'irrelevantmer' want to maybe use cyrodiil the way it was intended. Even if it means a bit of a struggle.

In that light not letting fair weather scrubs leech off of the few groups AD has seems a wise precaution. After all there's no point helping out those who'll just run off to the biggest zerg the moment things don't go their way.

But do not worry. As certain things like to flow down pipes so too shall such elfish sorts find their way to those who don't really care for 'unfun' things like competition, challenges, and a decent fight.

This one looks forward to the two of you molding them into your vision for PVP.

I joined a (different) PVP guild with similar rules.

I knew about it when I signed up. Its not like its a surprise. Its a restriction I was totally okay with. Heck, faction loyalty was one of the things that attracted me to that guild in the first place!

And I'm fine with that. If I ever feel the urge to cross faction PVP (that's so not going to happen), I'll be honorable enough to leave my guild first. Because that's what I agreed to. I've even played DC and AD toons in PVP, I just made sure I didn't do it on our home campaign and there were no problems.

So if faction loyalty isn't what you look for in a PVP guild, don't join up with a faction loyal guild. There are cross faction guilds you can have fun with insread.

Well put. No need to appease a cross faction players/guilds that are about themselves and social media hits. Of course they can do what they like that's fine, but your post ends any argument by essentially three faced city state militants.

Strange that some people enjoy telling other people that their goal in the game isn't relevant. Some play objectives. "Winning" is defined by objectives. Seems entirely relevant based on how the game is set up.
If you don't like doing that, don't do it.

and score stopped being important when BGs dropped letting players actually PVP.

Cyro has and will forever be the pvp mode where you hunt for terrible players for your pvp clips lol.

As @Sandman929 says, making a balanced campaign is a fundamental objective for you, but its not for me. As it doesnt depend only on me or 1 group, its a entire pop issue which has their ups and downs. Instead my objectives are my group and the playtime we have in Eso.

Btw if you cant see the ups and downs, watch the screenshot by ghostbane, damn Ad is on fire.

More to the point, I am also open to trifaction guilds. At the same time, I understand that seeing a guildie as an enemy zerglord may cause some problems. If GG wants to have this rule it is their choice. There are many other guilds with more flexible rules.

Lol, I think you misunderstand the phrase of taking the path of least resistance. Haronin and his guild go out of their way to find the most challenging fights they can and continuously work to improve their gameplay. They have even acknowledged that the periods they play have few to no challenges on the map for a guild of their capabilities and have taken measures to reconcile that.

I dunno about you but I respect the fact that they're spending their time looking for guilds to fight not empty keeps to flip. Its this mentality that makes them one of ADs few top teir guilds.

But if people do not wish to beleive that then Telel can post some map shots from the last year and a half. You know, the ones from when AD would often have 1-2 bars of pop vs 1-2 pop locked opponents. Not to mention being thousands of points behind, and the opposition often having emperor?

Maybe three hours of video where EP had emp, both DC scrolls, AND was in first place? This one thinks some would be amused by who shows up to PVdoor Blood mayne while others are 'dueling' the PUG AD at alessia farm.

Hint hint it's not the guys who had emperor, and had all their scrolls.

Because this one can do so, and it perfectly illustrates why those of us who don't flop to the zergiest faction enforce 'don't sabotage us' rules.

Just to clarify I never said his guild. Any and all comments are at him alone. His guild is probably filled with decent people just wanting to pvp. He talks of my guild, I don’t run with anyone very often anymore. I wish his guild the best and I will always try and gank the stranglers so keep your trail tight.

But I wasn't talking about the past few months, I was talking about your screenshot of today.

We are all aware of EPs dominance the past few months, lets not waste bandwidth linking in the known and obvious. I linked the first map screenshot of emphasizing a point that in my morning time (this morning as an example), if the map is all yellow and I wish to pvp, I shouldn't be expected to go on AD.

I agree completely except, I find it disheartening that the map can change hands very quickly and AD's strongest troops are nowhere to be seen defending our own shizz. I'm not saying it never happens but if EP or DC bust the back end of us in large numbers and we read well folks that's some guild calling it night, have fun. gone.

I understand time I really do but to me its a bit of an insult to try and act like the shining lights of their current colors.
Our elite find more pleasure in the slow ego gains and the feeling of a well oiled machine, working as intended.
I applaud that, was part of that, lost my preference for spontaneity and now zerg surf and I'm not sure where I'm going with this..

@Ghostbane Telel is discussing why guilds are wise to have faction restrictions in their basic guidelines.

As you yourself may have noticed the griffs got a massive surge in numbers over the last few months. A good deal of those were scrubs who were so tired of being zerged down by the purple nurples that they decided to just flop around like dead fish/elves onto whomever tended to farm them the most.

Khajiit had to remove more than one member of the pack from the roster due to them 'not wanting to get zerged'. Needless to say running off to join a certain guild known for 50 manning empty keeps was not the solution this one approved of.

Especially when it left this one even more outnumbered by people who then demanded that a khajiit assist them with gear...

Been busting nuts the last week since I went to DC to try and help improve their campaign performance and I'm glad to see how close we've made it, but it's a damn shame one guild on AD can do that to the score in one or 2 nights. Frustrating. Oh well, next campaign maybe. #Weekdays.
