Maintenance for the week of February 16:
• [IN PROGRESS] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – February 19, 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EST (23:00 UTC)
Thanks for the replies guys....looks like it'll happen when it happens.
Shame @ZOS don't let us know in advance, as they surely have the exact date and whether the entire server or just EU/US characters will be wiped.
To whichever moderator is reading this, can you please bear in mind that it's not worth starting another housing project if there is another wipe looming. Knowing when and for whom would be remarkably helpful
It was said by Gina on one of the recent convention panels that PTS for Update 20 was scheduled for week commencing 17th September. So, going by past experience, that means PTS will be wiped completely either on 17th or 18th, and when it comes back up with Update 20 installed it will be with US characters copied. It's not a mystery.
I’m sure there is no mystery if you happen to have seen a convention panel, and know what the normal procedure is for PTS. So, as I haven’t been on PTS for very long, thanks for the info which makes it much clearer.

Is it possible to save your PTS housing creations in anyway to avoid them being wiped each time?
I don't think so. When the server/your characters are wiped everything goes back to vanilla. So your houses go poof.
That is the reason for my OP. I like to have finished a project, testing reported and pics taken for the record before a wipe.
That is why it would be so useful for @ZOS to provide a rough timetable in advance for character copies and wipes. I have a vague idea when the next update is scheduled for. But I can never work out/remember who's turn it is to have characters copied/ be wiped, and when.
It's not so important if you are testing questing, storylines, crafting etc. But it does matter if you are trying to complete a housing project. You need to know what sort of time frame you have after each wipe.
