"The Blacksap's Hold" quest bug

Good time of day. Find this bug - during the quest don't working teleport to Maeroth (it's the 2nd teleport, 1st working. I can see it, but dont have a key to use). Trying to relogin, to repair client - still don't working.
And sorry for my English (i'm from Ukraine). Good day to all.
P.S. - Doing this quest again - portal don't working =\

CanstanySoul ShrivenIf I am reading this correctly I was having this same bug when I picked the quest up from the quest giver at Elden Root. If you abandon that quest and instead pick it up from the quest giver at Cormount, it then worked for me.Edited by Canstany on April 6, 2014 2:48AM5 -
LatekinSoul ShrivenI find now, you can do the whole quest, except after you've finished with the Dominion camps. The portal you're meant to take after that is bugged. You can't interact with it.1

DimossaSoul Shrivenstill bugged, when you defend dominion camps, first camp does not trigger so there is no enemies. Dominion soldiers just fight each other.0

Adernath✭✭✭✭✭The problem with Mearoth not spawned can be overcome if you start the quest in Cormount.
However I have the same problem as the OP and can not finish the quest. Tried everything.... please fix

yea i tried the same thing as you said...that worked for me as well the guy appeared at Cormount right before the bridge and gave me the quest i entered his portal from there and poff the guy was standing there waiting for me..2 -
Bugged for me as well. No NPC when I enter the first portal. I've tried it the past two nights and both times the ruins were full of other players who had no NPC. I've tried dropping it as well as relogging several times and no progress.0 -
andrearochelSoul ShrivenThis was bugged for me as well. But, I did as others had said and abandoned the quest and picked it back up in CORMOUNT and it worked. The NPC was there for me to speak too and I was able to leave the portal and complete the quest.
If you are unsure where Cormount is, check your map for the Cormount wayshrine. Unless you haven't uncovered that area, in that case it is in the North Eastern part of Grahtwood near the top area of the map.

ZomZom✭✭✭I've found that if you can't interact with the portal, try standing back a fair distance. I was able to select it that way.1 -
Kayira✭✭✭✭I've found the opposite. If you stand more or less in the portal you can interact with it. I managed to finally finish it after having problems of the guy not appearing first and then not being able to interact with the portal.0 -

On my third try this worked for me too. Stand on end of the bridge & look down toward the ground; the portal interaction box should show up.

Ciovala✭✭✭Yes mine was bugged out, too. However, I just abandoned the quest and then ran into the centre of Cormount. The guy summoned the portal up there and it's all un-bugged now. Glad I found this thread. Wynter123Soul ShrivenIf you go to Cormount, Abandon the quest and start leaving the guy with the portal will come back and do it again and at this point the quest will register and you will be able to continue in this quest.0

Adernath✭✭✭✭✭Ok finally here are workarounds for both bugs (already mentioned above, but i found them out by myself):
1. Bug: Maeroth is not spawned. FIX: Abandon the quest, go to Cormount and take it there.
2. Bug: The portal after killing the constructs is not working. FIX: Look to the ground beneath the portal and - voilà - there you can click on the portal.2 -
The quest is bugged, however you still can finish it. Abandon the quest you took near the tree. Travel to "Cormount", you will find that guy came back and try to give you the same quest. Take this one, it works well.
PS: Just tried half an hour before.0 -
