How to: implement a magicka Dawnbreaker — *without* removing options for stam players

✭Dawnbreaker is the Figthers Guild ultimate, it makes sense to me that it is more effective on stamina chars.
Why don't you ask for changes to meteor, soul asault or class ultimates? it makes more sense to me if you are feeling that some magicka builds lack a burst damage ultimate.
I just like to see some diversity, and won't like to see everybody using DBoS in PvP.
Dawnbreaker is a Daedric artifact of Meridia which is specially effective on Undead and any minions of other Daedric Princes such as WW. It is technically a magic sword which should deal magical damage as it used to. But OP's suggestion would not upset stam players at all.Imperials, the one and true masters of all mortal races of Tamriel1 -

✭Why should not all ultis deal damage of the typ of your max stat.
e.g.
physical meteor for stam classes
mag damage incap
poison leap with shield
mag dawnbreaker
...
It would at least give you a chose why you would choose this ulti because of it's effect rather than that it deals the correct typ of damage.

Not really if you consider the context of these complaints: the swift meta in stamina has put magicka builds (who don't incorporate swift themselves when they should, mind you) on the backfoot and asking for adjustments that are unnecessary & counter to core design, they simply want something to be more competitive, but dunno what to ask for so they plead for nonsense. Remove swift from this context and these conversations would disappear as well.0 -

✭✭I think it's fair to say there's no compelling lore reason that DB shouldn't be able to deal magic damage (covered by numerous posters already).
As for diversity issues, I'll reiterate a point I made earlier—the classes that will use DBoS after this change are the same ones that already use it. Ult diversity won't be affected.
Ideally we'd all have the need for a burst ult fulfilled by the class toolkits, but until ZOS implements that (assuming it's even on the cards), this change would help the classes that need it without taking anything away from third parties.PC/NA — Daggerfall Covenant — BGs, Kaalgrontiid

And how would OP's version of Dawnbreaker hurt the diversity? Classes like Templar, Sorc and Warden do not have any other viable CC options atm when magicka. I don't think OP's proposal will hurt anyone.
