After Murkmire and one more DLC, we should get a "Chapter" for the DC area. According to the developers, Chapters are supposed to add significant new systems. Morrowind gave us the Warden and Battlegrounds. Summerset gave us Jewelry Crafting and the Psijic Order skill line.

What new "system" are you most excited to see in the new Chapter?

    I already want more than of those options so I choose "Something else (describe below!)" option to describe them here:

    1-) Unarmed Combat
    I'm not very fond of spellcrafting but using spells as unarmed as in Skyrim would be better. Unarmed should have two options, magicka unarmed as we know mage in Skyrim and stamina unarmed like monks or Khajiits.

    2-) Mounted Combat
    I really wanted that feature but it should probably change A LOT of things. If they can do that in balance, I'd like to see some PVE content as well as PVP to use Mounted Combat.

    3-) Spears
    More weapon types would add more flavour into game. Spears and Crossbows would work as the diversity we need.

    There's going to be a new chapter whether they're ready to add more to the game or not.

    This next chapter is the time for a major overhaul to several systems like mounts, the renderer (Vulkan, improving image quality especially with aliasing artifacts) and major additions like spear, spellsword and spellcrafting.

    Not really helpful, they need to sell new copies of the game. We know they are going to release a chapter. What was the point in commenting no? Balance fixes usually come in huge waves with chapters anyhow.

    I want more diversity in the game, less cookie cutter. Create spell crafting and we can get some semblance of customization and unique synergy's with the existing classes.

    Honestly, I really really hope that they permanently shelve the idea of Spell Crafting.

    I view this as an extremely complicated system that has the potential to eclipse the class system, and it needs to be done right the first time.

    What I fear that ZOS will do is ...

    1. Partially implement it. They will think it is fine, but will figure anything they miss they can fix at a later date. It won't be "fine" and it takes them forever to get back to anything. Guilds and Guild Banks, anyone? Still waiting.
    2. Grind the hell out of components. For example, if they put spell components on parchment, we will need more than one parchment to make a spell, and the parchments will drop randomly as single letters that we have to assemble with special glue that costs 5 figures in gold.
    3. Leveling it will also be a grind, but this one will be designed to deliberately impede progress.
    4. Monetize it. Number 3 will be easily bypassed with a generous donation of Crowns.
    5. Writs will not be worth the effort.
    6. It will be wildly out of balance, either so OP that every meta needs it, or so underwhelming that only the crafting completionists care about it.

    id like to see additions to the CP system rework the point buy ,add actives and role specific trees that are purchased after 300 cp. other then that id like to see a class but truthfully until the imbalance of the cp system is addressed your a monkey humping a football in all aspects of this game, the DPS meta needs to be addressed the game is a one trick pony right now

    I agree.
    Spell Crafting just isn't suited for ESO.
    It will be near impossible to make it balanced.
    If such a system will be implemented, it may be the final nail in the coffin for ESO combat balance.

    As for new systems in the next chapter,
    I prefer that ZOS will release a massive free* quality of life update rather than implementing new systems.
    This update will include:
    1. Improvement to client and server performance - less game crashes, better fps, improvement of game client stability etc.
    2. Combat balance improvement - necessary balance changes to classes, skill lines and item sets.
    3. Fixes for multiple game bugs.
    4. Changes to guild store and guild bank UI menus, like implementing an item search option in guild trader by default.
    5. Removal of bots from Nirn - A special method of auto removal of bots will make botting impossible or near impossible.
    6. Implementation of a detection tool of macro/third party cheating programs - This tool will scan for any known cheating software and will send a warning to ZOS that the player is found positive for cheating. This will result in less cheating in PVP or in challenging PVE content.

    If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

    Unarmed skill line
    To clarify, I don't think an entire skill line for fighting without weapons is called for. I'd like to see it the way we see Ledgerdemain and Soul Magic - a sort of perky skill line that everyone gets and can use. Nothing super fancy, just gets ticked when we fight without weapons and has a couple active moves and a handful of passives. No need to make a whole class around it.

    Spears or Spell-swords would be pretty neat. I genuinely am surprised by the 'spell-crafting' percentage. Would that even be possible? It seems highly technical. I'm not saying it can't be done...just potentially difficult & it doesn't sound very interesting to me at least. With spells being basically wrapped up in skill lines, would they need to add an entire new skill line to add spell-crafting as an option?
    I'd love to see spears or even unarmed skill lines enter into the game. But even more than those I would truly love to have a magicka based character that can viably use swords, daggers, two-hands or even bows. I'd pay DLC prices for something like that. I want to make a Magblade constantly, but every time I do, I quickly remember how awkward blades look wielding staff weaponry. I just want a Magblade who can dual-wield or similar and prosper without needing to have a destro slotted.

    None of the above really excites me.

    What I fear they will do is a repeat of what they did in the Imperial City DLC: raise the gear cap and only have the new materials/top level gear drop in the new Chapter territory. And no other meaningful additions; that will be the only thing they add to justify the "Chapter" label.

    Crap i shudda picked something else too..

    I want...

    1) Spears, Crit modifier ofc, 2handed and 1 handed both
    2) Spellsword weapon line - Elemental Rune/book/orb etc. and 1h weapon plox. I really wanna have 1h sword and wield magic at full efficiency. There are tools for it in the game already, let us have it.
    3) Unarmed Combat
    4) Spellcrafting ONLY IF IT'S LIMITED TO CLASS EFFECTS OR AUGMENTING OUR SKILLS. I do NOT want a complete freedom with spellcrafting. Everyone would run the exact same identical OP skillset and bye bye ESO.
