There are 2 or 3 type grade of each crown crate
var[1] = Economic grade (you buy from crown store, pay real money for crown)
rate[1] = 0.01% to get golden reward
var[2] = Daily month reward grade (it is free, free) why give golden reward easy to free?
rate[2] = 0.0001% to get golden reward

I wouldn't call it total junk, especially since it is free

All the same, my entire point was "just because it is free, doesn't mean you can't express your grievances about it"
If I'm being honest, I'm suspicious about them intentionally giving you gimped crates for free.
I mean sure you could choose to look at that way, but imo that's a gross attitude for anybody to have. This is the equivalent of somebody buying you a lottery ticket or scratchcard for your Birthday (as my family sometimes does) and then you being p'd off that you didn't win the lottery on the ticket, and then finally turning around to the person who gave it to you and insulting them. Forgot the fact of the gesture of a gift, and forget the fact you had a chance to win the jackpot - just act ungrateful. Skips the turds because this is a much more realistic example of what's going on. Crates = Lottery.
They don't owe us log-in rewards, they are essentially a gift. Sure, you can choose to insult the gift giver and such, but that really doesn't reflect well on your character. I know my family would be disgusted with me if they bought me lottery tickets, I lost and then insulted them. This is one of those cases where the gesture should have some if not the majority of the meaning - they gave you a chance, that WAS the gift.
Now don't get me wrong - there are times when you get gifts that you don't particularly want, but in this case these people were willing accepted the gift - but they were mad it didn't pan out how they wanted. Plus even in the case of gifts you don't want, most of have been taught through life to graciously accept them - unless it's super extreme circumstance where doing so would have greater implications.

Bought crates have lousy drop rate too, just look at the various "OMG, what is this crap?!?!" posts after every new crate release.1 -

Same here. Those two Wild Hunt crates gave me 19 gems, which pushed me over 400. Though, in my case, that's a Nocturnal Statue, and the Psijic gauntlets when the current crates are rotating out. I mean, if I'd had loved to get my hands on the Red Pit Wolf from the Wild Hunt Crates, and I was really hoping the Wild Hunt stuff would be in the store for gems, even if it was just for a little while, but... eh, life goes on.0 -
