You only need to watch for 10 minutes for a percentage chance (non-guaranteed) at one drop per day, given at the end of the day. You can leave after 10 minutes. Watching for hours doesn't increase your chances.
Make sure the drops are actually on (green text label).
Only the official ESO Lives have different rules. Some of the Twitch drop events they did before also had different rulesets.

I feel like I wasted so many hours of my life watching these bozos in hope of getting drops and nothing happened. I linked my twitch account previous to all this, made sure the streamers were the official.I watched one at a time for hours and hours. I wish ZOS would tell us we have the same chances to spot a unicorn than to get a drop. So people don't waste their time. I've heard people have to do this for days in order to get this stuff. I rather just play the game. but I feel less and less like spending money on the game if ZOS keep pulling this gimmicks.

Name calling eh? I think this speaks more of you instead of the streamers or Zenimax.

Seriously though, drops are only up sometimes (including right now) and I've gotten at least 20 crates in total.

Do people really need rewards for everything?

I don't waste my time on videogame parasites no matter what they try to offer me.. Seriously this is a plague on gaming.

Unfortunately ZoS just really doesn't get the idea that some of us would rather be rewarded for playing the game than wasting our time watching Twitch.
