"OFFICIAL ESO STREAMERS IN TWITCH"

I feel like I wasted so many hours of my life watching these bozos in hope of getting drops and nothing happened. I linked my twitch account previous to all this, made sure the streamers were the official.I watched one at a time for hours and hours. I wish ZOS would tell us we have the same chances to spot a unicorn than to get a drop. So people don't waste their time. I've heard people have to do this for days in order to get this stuff. I rather just play the game. but I feel less and less like spending money on the game if ZOS keep pulling this gimmicks.

You only need to watch for 10 minutes for a percentage chance (non-guaranteed) at one drop per day, given at the end of the day. You can leave after 10 minutes. Watching for hours doesn't increase your chances.

Make sure the drops are actually on (green text label).

Only the official ESO Lives have different rules. Some of the Twitch drop events they did before also had different rulesets.

No need to call us bozo's :s

Seriously though, drops are only up sometimes (including right now) and I've gotten at least 20 crates in total.
I play this game a little bit I guess

Is it like open browser tab with twitch for 10 continuous minutes? (not collapsed, not overlapped by other window?)

Watched several streams the last 2 days and nothing. So I'm done no more twitch watching.

I hope you guys know that the drops are not a guarantee. There are some days where I watch streams all day and don't get any drops, but other times I log in with 3-4 crates waiting for me. I'm sorry if RNG is not on your side, but if you don't want to watch the creators in this community, then don't. The crates have nothing in them except consumables anyway, with a rare chance for the mounts.

ESO's content creators are just bozos, trapping you in their realms of gimmicky twitch drops, obviously ;)

I just wonder what happened to watching someone's content for its quality and entertainment value.

Do people really need rewards for everything?

Apparently they do. Hurts little bit to see somebody actually complaining about it on the forums. (oof, my liver.)

I didn't know there was a problem with just watching and supporting community creators. It's not like there's anything special in the crates anyway, (besides the very low chance for a mount) so the fact that some people actually feel this way blows my mind.

Playing the game isn’t really a creation.......

I agree that people should watch streamers BECAUSE they are entertained by streamers, rewards should not be a part of it at all.

This complaint just solidified my theory that the activity (watching someone else play a game)is itself not worthwhile for people without an additional incentive.

And aren’t these the same people with the exclusive codes? Maybe op is complaining that doing this activity is the only way to obtain something they want and are fed up with that.

bahahahaha I always hope the ppl that just come in and say "drops? are they on.. when do i get drops" get nothing...
    Really dislike that attitude...

I got streams running on my 2nd monitor while I work (from home) most of the time anyway.
I woke up this morning (Saturday, Australia) and had 3 crates of free gems...

For some of us, there was no quality content or entertainment value in watching Twitch then ZoS decided they needed to support streamers to gain more customers by tying "chance to drop" items to twitch.

^That is still nothing of value.

Unfortunately ZoS just really doesn't get the idea that some of us would rather be rewarded for playing the game than wasting our time watching Twitch.

Come to think of it i am curious about something here. I was reading the other thread back when it was posted, the one someone linked in this thread, and then just took another look at the response from @ZOS_GinaBruno... Does anyone know if this "stream team" gives this stuff out at random? Or do they have discretion on who gets it. Because i find it hard to believe that subs/regulars wouldnt get the stuff first..

No it cant be like that. Im sure its random. Anyone know?

I'm old, not very with the times, mostly watch sports and play video games - however - totally disagree...

the times, they are a changjng...

good for those whom want to express themselves and connect with others...

the market/need/desire for that form of entertainment is really strong...particularly in younger folks...

Post like this just make me disgusted at how entitled people are. You’re literally being given free stuff yet you’re complaining about it taking too long to get. Nobody is forcing you to watch a stream, so stop crying about it. And the name calling towards the streamers just shows your true character.

@omarjaz Maybe you should try streaming a bit... and give those crates/codes to others.

I agree with this. I’d rather be rewarded for supporting and playing the game instead of watching someone else play and get rewarded. Where is the fun in that?! lul

come on folks - in regards to streamers setting up shop and recording their gameplay...

whether or not you yourself is entertained by that is completely irrelevant - seriously who cares...

good for you - have a sweetroll :)

the fact is - there are many many many many many many many people who do enjoy that type of entertainment...

if you think it's easy to put yourself out there (to be ridiculed by some) - that's crazy...

I can barely keep a coherent line of thought together in my own head for 5 minutes...

pretty scary thought thinking about having that stuff recorded - so, you can then be silently judged by others...

got two godkids aged 7 and 16 - they love that stuff...

get with the times you old farts...
