I saw new Argonian skin coming and thought it would be a furniture item for our houses, kinda like a bear skin rug. I am now disappointed.

If it makes you feel better, you can buy argonian skeletons from the midyear mayhem achievement merchant.

I personally love this. Very tribal, like clans who use scarification ceremonies.

In a related issue - I just received the Wild Vines' Embrace body tattoo, which is even displayed on an Argonian on the card, and, like most body markings, it doesn't have anything on the tail. I'm super grateful and it looks really neat (sleeves and down below the knee) but few considerations are typically given to Argonian tales.

Agh, my eyes! So this skin on an Argonian will make it look like an Argonian and makes other races look like Argonian. If you play as a different race than Argonian surely it's because you don't WANT to be Argonian. Idk I feel I'm missing the point somewhere...

Thank god all the earnable skins are ugly af. I already have no motivation to be stressed out by one shot mechanics and bugged encounters and now seeing that they never plan to make the unique rewards worthwhile, I can rest easy in my norm dlc dungeons.

So is this from a dungeon I am probably too crummy to get achievements in? Because it would be a fantastic way of covering my vampirism up. (Yes, I'm an Argonian).

Its from a 4-person trial similar to vMA/vDSA. Probably from beating some kind of hard mode/speed run/no death like other skins have been.

@OneForSorrow Have you tried disguises? It limits your wardrobe and IIRC doesn't work in Cyrodiil, but it will hide the pastiness in PvE content. My vamp Templar uses the Bleakrock Bandit disguise and I believe there are others that still drop even after the associated quest is complete.

That isn't really a valid argument for group content. Not only do YOU need to know what you're doing for group content, but so do your groupmates and everyone has to have a good idea of how to coordinate with each other. One person individually knowing how to optimize is not going to magically enable them to complete the no-death, speed run etc. achievements necessary to unlock skins.

I have to an extent pug'd vet bloodroot HM. I answered the call of someone in zone chat who wanted to do it and I did not know any of the other players. Took us a few pulls but we got it. I've pug'd skin runs before as well. I got my cradle skin with a pug that had a NB healer i was super skeptical of but we did all the achievements in an hour. There are plenty of good players out there to group with. Join guilds and find them.

They said THEY are too crummy. As in they feel they suck too badly to do the content.

I simply propose they stop sucking.

And guild groups are pretty easy to find. I recommend people stop living out their Kirito fantasy and join a guild

There is a certain level of technical skill required to pull off some of these rotation. I'm leveling a magsorc right now that I am hoping I can handle but I will never be a top player.

I know what I'm doing but nerve damage in my hands + a somewhat shoddy connection means that, say, vet trial achievements as a magblade are probably forever beyond me. Granted it's hard for me to tell what causes rotational lag... the nerve damage, the connection or something unresponsive in the game. Maybe all of it.

Come on guys! It's an argonian/reptile skin. How do you expect it to look in humans and cats?

Put a human skin on an argonian and see how it looks.

Personally, I like it a lot.

Dont worry, it'll probably be bugged and you'll be able to get it by using exploits. ZOS doesnt care anyway. :D

Tbh, I dont understand this argument. We humans are social creatures, and "coordinating with each other" is one of our basic abilities. Most of us do this on a day-to-day basis. Why is it even a problem? Why would you handicap yourself by not talking to other people? Playing with a group of friends is a much better experience than pugging, and I'm sure you can find a few likeminded people.

I understand the nerve damage thing. I have a friend who was in a car crash and finds it pretty hard to get competitive DPS...but they do still manage to pull passable DPS.

I do not know the extend or type of your nerve damage, but I think most people should be able to do a passable amount of DPS to do at least vet dungeons even if they can't do hardcore endgame trials.

My recommendation? Try a pet Sorc! They require a lot less effort than most other DPS so theyll probably strain your nerves a lot less...

And that's my "git gud" advice for today :)
