In PvP spamming roll dodge is broken and needs to be nerfed

    I think dodge is pretty good as is. Projectiles should always be able to be dodged. Non-projectile abilities such as beams (Soul Assault), direct-target abilities like Petrify, Rune Cage, Curse, Whip, etc, and AoE like Whirlwind and Impulse shouldn't be able to be dodged (unless you dodge out of range of them, obviously)...just because all of that makes sense.

    The lingering I-frames do definitely need to be tightened up though. It feels like there's no such thing as recovery-frames like there would be in any other game that features dodge rolling.

    Try a no-CP campaign if the cheese pointer dodgespam has gotten too much for ya.

    No one is roll dodging 7 times in a row without consequences. That’s how you end up with no resources. The only class capable of doing so with little penalty is medium armor stam sorc.

    After around CWC we obtained the sustain needed to dodge roll this much on a medium armor build that the match between a; (and this is just an example) magicka sorc and stamblade, is no longer fair.

    Having skills like Soul Harvest and Burning Embers be undodgable helped keep dodging in line and wasn't totally overpowered but they were bugs and they were fixed.

    That passive that sets an enemy off balance in the cp tree makes dodge rolling effective. Slot something undodgeable. I’m a Magdk. Fossilize. Plus if all they are doing is rolling they aren’t attacking. Ignore them. Like tanks.

    I normally just play MagSorc in PvP so I only have like 2 skills that can't be dodge and both are terrible for someone dodge rolling away. Definetly making more skills undodgeable would be a great change and seriously cut down on this reallllllllllllllly cheap tactic.

    2 skills? I only know of Curse, since they just changed Mages' and Rune in Wolfhunter

    I think mines can't be dodged just the immobilze part since rolling gives immunity. If it didn't I could ruin everyone doing it :(

    They already nerfed constant roll dodge by adding a cost multiplier for successive uses too quickly in a row. If someone's doing 7 roll dodges in a row then they're going to be super strapped for stamina after that. That's going to force them to drink a pot or use Dark Deal or some such, or just leave the fight entirely (if they even can) to regen resources, all of which have a pretty hefty opportunity cost. I'm really not sure what more needs to be done to balance this.

    Most ultimates are undodgeable. This is also the case for some common abilities like spin to win tornado and reverse slash.
    Pugging. Pugging all the way to victory.
    Imperial Dragonknight --- male, stamina, heavy & medium armor, dual wield, one hand and shield, two handed.
    Breton Templar --- female, magicka, light armor, restoration staff.
    Redguard Warden --- female, stamina, medium armor, bow.
    Breton Sorcerer --- male, magicka, light armor, destruction staff.
    Imperial Templar --- male, stamina, medium armor, two handed.

    This is main only a problem on CP campaign because of CP passives that reduce roll dodge cost. On battlegrounds and No-CP you can really feel the cost of using roll dodge.

    If they do it 7 times and you still can’t kill them then that’s on you..i don’t think healers should be able to heal more than 7 times

    No let them hang themselves, when it turns around and bites them in the behind... Shield fatigue like streak fatigue will be fun to watch if they keep going on about nerfs... all this game needs is for it to actually work, for the coders to complete the job and people not find glitches after live... they talking about this, they not solo want the guys to just get crushed out there

    Every skill that's useful needs to be nerfed. Then we can move on to nerfing the fun ones. Finally, we'll have every class/play style be so comprehensively gutted, PvP will be so enormously dull and vanilla every campaign will have 2 people in it, and get turned off.

    I have said before you do not want to balance the game solely around the lowest common denominator. Continually doing so over time will make the game so incredibly bad, that no one will be playing anymore. Good or bad.

    How about not being dependant on spamming a single mechanic to win games?
    You have 5 melee characters you're biased as hell. Personally stam chars are incredibly broken and much more built towards PvP than mag is. Especially DKs they were made purely for PvP, they have some of the most broken skills in game for it. I don't want to hear from someone with 3 of them to "git gud"
