I was curious! For me, if i had access to the data, it would give me an idea of what a good gold sink price for crates would be. so that's one prediction i have! crown crates will be coming soon to buy with gold AND they will not be de-conaable for the gems that give the apex awards.
What do yall think?

I think the only thing zos will be learning is how many dead accounts they can get to log in for twenty eight days to get the reward.

What part of giving free money gives them any indication of that, though?
"Oh, a bunch of people claimed free gold! Looks like we should sell crates for gold!"
See how that makes...no sense? The two statements are unrelated. There's nothing there testing a currency exchange, or a demand for gold-purchased crates. They'll learn that...some people have more gold now. And maybe how strong of an incentive to log in 100k gold is. That's it.
If there was a reward that let people CHOOSE between gold and crates, or a reward that gave you a limited opportunity to buy crates with gold, that would be kinda relevant. But free gold has nothing to do with selling crates for gold. At all.

How do you figure? Many players who are neither newbies nor casuals don't consider 100k to be chump change and greatly appreciate the gesture.
100k is still an item to legendary quality. It's not something to scoff at as a free gift.DuskMarine wrote: »DuskMarine wrote: »Well I mean if you don't want yours... mmm...
well, sorry, my intention wasn't to be contentious.
if log-ins are greater by 3x for 100k than they are for 5 free crates that does hint at, at least for me, that, 100k is 3x more valuable than 5 crates...setting the price of a single crate to be roughly 6666 gold. THESE ARE JUST EXAMPLE NUMBERS.
