I got tired of running back to town all the time so I decided to buy the merchant for 5000 crowns. Problem was I only had 4800 crowns. Okay, no big deal. I just clicked on the "Buy crowns" link and bought 3000 more. Then I waited for them, and waited, and waited. The next day I submitted a ticket because I've never had in game currency take this long to receive and assumed there was a problem. My credit card was charged right away so I didn't understand what the holdup was since everything is computerized. This is the response from ESO support:

Greetings!
Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is Brett, and I'm here to help!
After looking into your account, I can confirm that you have not received your allotment of 3000 crowns as of yet. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 72 hours to receive your crowns from the point of purchase. I encourage you to wait for another day or two and then simply reply back to this email thread if you have not received you crowns by then.
Thank you for your continued interest and support!
Warm Regards,
Brett

What??? Up to 72 hours? Three days? You have got to be kidding me. Even Amazon Prime would be quicker. So, I requested a refund and indicated I would just get a crown card from Wal Mart instead and would likely have the code inputted in 20 minutes instead of waiting up to 3 days. ESO support hasn't responded to my refund request (or they could just give me the darn crowns and be done with it)
) I learned my lesson I guess.....just buy a crown card locally and put the code in for immediate crowns. Gamers are not known for patience and I guess I'm one of them.
