I am sure some of you vets will disagree but I truly feel that ZOS needs to increase the CP gains for those that are well below max CP, or at the very least when a new DLC is released non max CP players should be given free 30 CP so the gap does not get any bigger.
I am myself a vet player with well over 1000 CP on my first account but because I have a 2nd account with about 380 CP I really understand the struggle that new players go through just trying to catch up CP wise. It is a little disheartening when you spend a few months making some gains and then a new DLC / Chapter is released and the gap is instantly widened by 30 more CP.
The reason I made this post was because with the new DLC I got to watch as my SO got to assign 30 CP to all her characters and I had none. My first thought was.. "damn that would suck for any new players who have worked hard trying to catch up CP wise only to fall behind by 30 points in one day".

Getting to cp300 is also the most important part. Note that at 300 you should be able to have decent gear, not top of the line bis but one crafted / overland / dungeon set with gold weapons and an monster set.wtlonewolf20 wrote: »I am sure some of you vets will disagree but I truly feel that ZOS needs to increase the CP gains for those that are well below max CP, or at the very least when a new DLC is released non max CP players should be given free 30 CP so the gap does not get any bigger.

I have alt accounts as well but I really feel that the cp grind is in a good place right now. Between the catch up mechanic, enlightenment, the experience boosts events, and the free crown exp scrolls from the daily rewards its actually pretty easy to solo your way up to cp 300 or so. Which in my opinion is the hard part. Once you have around that much its easy, while tedious, to grind out the rest.

100%. Biggest barrier to entry in this game is CP. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve begged one of my friends to get the game, they hit level 50 and 10CP and say....” holy crap 780 is max? Lol no thanks cya later”.
ZoS are clueless because they gain next to nothing from forcing people to grind for 2 years to hit max CP. On the other hand if they reduced XP to get CP they’d earn long-term customers who would hit endgame and actually buy their DLC.
