Would you like to see world bosses that actually move around?

    Yes
Bosses move around quite slowly and have a clearly "dangerous burning skull mark" so anyone who don't want to mess with them can just step away. But the bosses will specially patrol the material notes and send those bots back to obilivon. The bosses also respawn at a random location right after killed, but the loot is 20m cooldown.

    No. But...
    World Bosses moving around?
No, thanks, it would seem more hassle then boon - for both the "I just wanna finish this quest- akk! Why am I suddenly squished flat?" crowd and for the "Boss hunting... hunting... hunting... hunting... where is the darn thing hiding? Is it even up or currently respawning?" people...

    ...

The idea -does- have merit though if you make multiple mobs with a wide roaming area that are neither "instant death" to solo players, nor "hunt target" for groups. Think public dungeon boss power levels... tough, but soloable for the better players if they pay attention (yet insurmountable for auto-play bots). That would make the world seem more alive...

With everything going wrong with the summerset bosses... I’m leery of ZOS trying to add anything more complex than a single spawn point.

Regardless, I feel like legitimate world bosses in the casual PvE questing overworks wouldn’t go over well, and personally I’d find them kinda annoying when I just wanna go around farming alchemy mats

Any WB needs a defined area to remain within. So wandering would be limited to a defined area. Unless the movement. Is meaningful then there isn’t much point. In other words, unless one could turn a corner and bam they are at the bosses feet it’s pointless.

Also, the WB would need to be worthy. I have soloed most every WB in the game so they are not worthy.

no, it more trouble then it is worth, and rather not get killed by it when I'm trying to farm gathering nodes. having stay in a den is more immersive as their pray is in the area. Most animals don't travel far from their dens to get food unless they are looking for a new den, or migrating for mating.

You don't wanna see WB's mating in the wild? Where's your sense of adventure ;)

    No. But...
Why turn ESO into every other MMO out there with this
& why try to turn it into a MOBO which is the other suggestion that seems to appear about as often

No. I very much disliked the Roving Threat system of world bosses in LOTRO because having to search the far ends of the map to find and kill the boss you needed was a time sink, boring, and tedious. It was also hard to PUG groups for it, so much so that people had to advertise that they'd already found the bosses locations for that day (although add-ons helped).

so instant gratification you mean you enjoy

    I wouldn’t call it that.

I played LOTRO as well, and agree that the roving bosses were tedious. The first time you kill the boss? Sure, it’s fun figuring out where they are and hunting them down. When you’re farming bosses for achievements or gear, however, that enjoyment factor goes down significantly.

We need something like this from FFXIV, where it takes 50-100 people to kill.

those large fates are dead. no one does them once they get the rewards. can't even do the newest ones.

also the ixion fate broke the game a good bit, almost no one could get into the zone the thing spawned in because it was full.

    Yes. But...
I'd love to have dragons spawn overhead at random points, like Skyrim!

Try Imperial sewers; alternatively there have been several games listed in this post which feature these events - maybe rather than bringing in (failed) features of other games you go play those games?

Oh and Imperial sewers - not the busiest of places in Tamriel.
