5. Ask questions and be open for feedback. There are only a couple of dungeons/trials I can think of while pugging that lack of dps will wipe the group. Lack of dps can be countered almost always by learning mechanics.
3. I am all about playing how you want, run the meta/don't run the meta, whatever you feel like but for gosh' sake, please DO NOT wear the Maw of Lawlogator 2 piece monster set into a dungeon/trial. The daedroth that spawns may do tons of damage but it literally walks past the boss and positions himself directly in front of the tank causing the same issues we run into in point 2!
Decent tanks are pretty good judges of group dynamics and dps levels, so let them do their thing. And if you do insist on running ahead because of your 'leet deeps', be prepared to spend the boss fight lying on the floor whilst I drag the boss right over the top of you.

I experienced this a few weeks ago and I just could not understand it. Why on Earth does the Daedroth always, every single time, spawn in front of the boss?!?!? It would block so much of my screen I would move a bit and get the boss to follow me, but of course the Daedroth followed too. It's basically a tank trolling set.
I assume you do realize that the targets of this post do not read the forums nor really care what you have to say.

Hello all from the dark side of the boss, on the other side of the thinly veiled mist of aoe's, fireworks, and loads of fire! Most people know if you want smooth dungeon/trial runs, get with a guild, find friends, etc. This post isn't for you folks so the door is thataway. This post is for the folks who may be socially challenged, fearful of making friends, or just not down with the guild life. When you, as a healer or dps, queue with a tank that appears to know what they are doing (fake tanks, we ain't talking to you), please be mindful of a couple of things:
1. All that free acreage behind and beside me is NOT FOR YOU! That is the bad place, the no no zone, the place where dreams go to die. Please note that I taunt and turn the boss away from the group. That's for a reason...so you kind folks don't die! Standing next to me or behind me is literally the worst place you can be. None of you are built for 25k damage cleaves, etc. and most bosses have a wayyyyyy larger hit box than you think. Your spots are on the back side of the boss burning his cute little tushy down to the ground!
2. Please try to drop your storm atro ultimate to either side of the boss, not square on top of him. There are visual cues tanks look for that are often times blocked by the atro's big ol booty. We may miss a critical bash or a chance to heavy attack/regain resources due to poor placement of that ulti.

4. Almost every good tank I know will slow to a crawl if you go running ahead and aggro 'all the things' because you want a fast run. Decent tanks are pretty good judges of group dynamics and dps levels, so let them do their thing. And if you do insist on running ahead because of your 'leet deeps', be prepared to spend the boss fight lying on the floor whilst I drag the boss right over the top of you.
5. Ask questions and be open for feedback. There are only a couple of dungeons/trials I can think of while pugging that lack of dps will wipe the group. Lack of dps can be countered almost always by learning mechanics. If you notice you keep dying in the group, ask if anyone knows why. Most folks I've pugged with will happily suggest some things you can do differently, inquire about food, charges, etc. Yes, there are a few bad apples but the vast majority of folks in this game are extremely helpful.
Thanks and please list more helpful tips for all!

It is ever so much easier for the tank to lock down and taunt a foe if you bring it to him than to try and chain it in when several smaller foes are in the way or it is too far away.
I know it was said before, but try to let the tank open the fight and get things set up. The slight delay before unleashing your dps should pay dividends by having the primary boss and some of the trash held in a nice tight killing zone for you and your wonderful AoEs.

There's only one: Just say 'No.' Or in anti-*** fashion, "Don't do it."Now we just need tips for all the fake tank, healers, and dps out there.
