on a side note, I put 3-5 sieges up sometimes, and actually hopin people using them, since its for the greater good in the end, I deft dont feel ownership over sieges I put down
If you could block usage of your siege or if you could kick other players from it then traitors from other factions would make great use of that mechanic.
Want to take a keep? Switch factions to the one that owns that keep, drop a bunch of siege and, block/kick anyone from using that siege to defend. Profit.
I never understood why people get salty for someone else using their siege weapons. If I´m sieging a keep or outpost and has multiple sieges down, and someone else uses my siege to destroy the walls/doors then I don´t really care.
except if its a newbie that uses it to hit a door instead of a wall. Or turns a countersiege to hit a wall instead of enemies

Aren’t you supposed to aim for the door?lol
I don’t buy siege, I get on other peoples siege.
But you know what.
We capture the keep.

I feel that any player of the same faction being able to access siege weapons was intended to promote team work, yet of course some players abuse this, and other players think they are helping.
Until, if ever ZOS alters this, criticism should be directed at ZOS alone, not other players.

You can do all of that now.... lets say you are a red and you want to troll the yellows, log onto your yellow and put down 20 siege in and around the keep the yellows will soon need to defend from the reds but in an area that is of no use for defending. No other yellow will be able to put down siege nor can they move the ones you put down. Eventually they will decay but if you are fast enough you can just put another down or if the reds are fast enough at sieging you might not need to.
However even if this is possible now it really does not happen and nor would it become a problem if ZOS were to make changes so we could kick unwanted siege thieves off of our siege.

I was also shy to put my own siege down as didn't have the experience to know what type and where, and didn't want to get in other people's way.
Assume it is well intentioned and make a reasonable request for them to stop, if it really bothers you.
The people who think this is ok, I just don't understand. Are you guys faction hoppers that join opposite factions just to *** with them?
I don't think anyone really cares when someone hops on their siege to hit the wall we are sieging. It's when someone sits on our siege and either doesn't use it at all, hits the wrong wall, or aims it away from the keep all together. We only get 20 siege to put up per keep, these people take away from that number.
