    I tanked this today with a new sorc healer, a pvp dps, and another dps that i would call average. It took a long time but if it wasnt hard it wouldnt be as much fun. and btw it WAS nerfed recently. In the past we would have never finished the second boss.

    Great dungeon, probably one of the best storylines. It never needed the Nerf it got but it was a pug crusher.

    Nerf CoA2?!? Ask the older players, it used to be the hardest dungeons apparently (before the dlc ones pop up i guess) and had experienced many nerfs already (the Crocodile boss, which had a strong shield in the past, was Awfull for pug group) :p

    let the place in peace... B)

    Just take out the two pillar mobs+mini bosses on the left and right at the end, those are just annoying and totally pointless.

    It’s not hard if you’re with a competent group, but with PUG you never know what you’ll get and it can end up taking forever.

    Come on man. CoA2 is one of the more enjoyable vet non-DLC dungeons and is already real easy. Iirc the hm was already nerfed once recently because people were complaining about it on the forum.

    It's now 'super-dee-duper' easy, and can be cleared by any mediocre to bad pug team.

    Now that I think about it, Horvantud the fire Maw was also nerfed recently for reasons I am unsure of. I didn't see many complaining about that fight. That fight used to be rather thrilling as the mobs would really gang up on you and it could feel overwhelming at times. Now there's a few dremora here or there, and they can be ignored completely while dps focuses on the boss. Those ads used to b the killerz of many a pug run.

    Yeah, If Horvantud the fire Maw is the one I called the 'Crocodile boss' then I agree the last nerf totally killed the fun :'(

    Don't nerf veteran dungeons please! Nerf is what made them look long...

    Yeah, for sure.

    Just the fact that the focus has shifted from focusing the ads to ignoring the ads and merely dpsing the boss which itself does not have any threatening attacks, I think that shows the extent to which the nerfs have gone. Thus, no further nerfs are necessary

    With good dps and skipping trash mobs you can complete it very fast... Nerf not needed.

    You can skip like half the dungeon by going through the lava.

    Next Dungeon DLC: dungeons that only consist of an end boss just like the new Mini Trials. I doubt it would stop the complaints though.

    Yup most mobs can be skipped, all bosses are easy just burn. I always do hardmode on the last boss too, movement is predictable and can be nuked a lot quicker.

    proof? Highest speedrun on youtube is 25 minutes. Speedrun achivement set on 30 minutes. No way you can finish this dungeon within 15 minutes. Maybe with 3 high-end dps + tank-dps hybrid, shorcuts and full speed mounts. And yet unbelievable.

    I remember when this dungeon was considered the hardest content in the game (might be the reason it´s the only non-DLC dungeon that has a title attached to it)

    Not everyone videos everything. Done this sub 20 several times. And no, I am not gonna go video it.

    No one has any reason to BS you.

    I pugged hm yesterday and we killed the boss the first try, dungeon is fine. We would have gotten no death run if someone wasnt locked outside the Daedroth boss area.
