Needed QoL update: Set which house (your own or friend's / guildmate's) to enter

Currently, When entering from overland, you can only either enter your own house or preview if you don't have it.

However, you do have the access of friend or guildmates' houses, but for now you must search for the specific friend or guildmate on your list to enter their house

It would be much more immersive if I can set which house do I enter (that I am allowed to) when I enter a house from overland, so I can visit friend's house or guild hall on foot

(EDIT: And..I am not sure if it's possible, but theoritically will it be possible to create an addon that has this function?

"Port to Friend's House" add on lets you set up a list of specific houses belonging to friends or guildmates. As long as you have appropriate permissions, you can choose which of their houses you want to travel to. You can access it with a hotkey or by typing "/ptf open" in your chatbox.

I know it's not quite what you wanted, but could walk up to the door and then do this.

PTF also lets you travel to new zones with new characters where you don't have a wayshrine unlocked yet. Very useful.
