Tank v dps balancing issues.
Something had been bothering me for a while with ESO.
Not enough people play tanks and one of the solutions people put forward is often to have tanks more dps, to make them more fun.
It’s oft suggested that they should have damage abilities that scale off hit points. But this gets shot down (by myself as well), as if you make somone who is survivable have higher DPS, they become unstoppable in PVP.
Now this is the part that gets me the most. So tanks dps can’t scale with his survivability, yet as a dps, your shields increase your survivability and they scale with your damage stats.
Why is it fair for dps to get more survivability with damage stats, but not a tank to get more dps with survival stats?
