1) Make a dedicated crafting character - it will save money on motifs and make it easier to do dailies because they can stay in town.

2) Don't make that second templar, no matter what you do she'll be too similar to the first one. Wait a few years and a better profession for that character will be released.

3) Don't buy the chicken guar from the crown store, you'll hardly use it. Also don't buy the vvardvark, you'll get a free one later (don't ask, you'll find out later what a vvardvark is) but do buy the dapple grey palfrey, you'll be able to get the white mane horse any time but that one will be gone forever soon.

You will need gold. Trust me on this. ZoS is about to screw everyone over by releasing motifs as pages, and the extra greed of the community will have them at 100k each. This is the only reason you'll need it because...

* FOR THE LOVE OF COMMON SENSE, STOP CREATING AND IMPROVING NEW WEAPONS AND ARMOR AT EVERY 10 LEVELS YOU IDIOT! Save those mats. Goodness, save those mats. You're going to regret it worse than not having any gold. Stop wasting those mats. *slap*

* ZoS will be changing the ranking system, so get to VR14 as fast as you can. This will translate to the new CP with max points, and you'll be sitting pretty to rack up tons of exp so when each CP is released, you'll have 30 new points to spend.

* When you leave (trust me, nothing I can do will prevent this because ZoS gives no damns to console UI or QoL improvement, even as I write this in 2018), at least log in daily to do your writs (free gold and mats), train your mounts, and steal items for gold (Auridon is the best place for this). All this will take about an hour, as you'll have writ and safebox patterns memorized.

* Because it's so important, it bears repeating:
