Stamina Draining Itself

During a BG today I had a moment where I was standing still for ~ 10 seconds after a fight and I watched my stamina go crazy. I would get my stamina back from regen and then half of the stamina that I just gained would drop back down causing my stamina bar to literally go up and down over and over while only barely gaining anything. This happened for about ten seconds without me moving casting or doing any bar swaps before an enemy attacked and I stopped watching it. The other day someone in zone in Cyro was saying that their mag completely stopped regenerating for a few minutes. I tried to do the replay feature with the microsoft gaming overlay but of course it only recorded one second which doesn't show anything >.>. As far as I know there are no debuffs that will drain your resources over time which is basically what was happening with my regen barely keeping the flow positive. Long story short.. wtf??

It's the random resource drain bug, thoroughly documented by players, including video, which ZOS has refused to acknowledge since their first attempt to fix it failed. Now they're just keeping quiet and pretending it doesn't exist.

Ahh I remember reading about this before but this was the first time I experienced it personally. Good to know that they are on top of it..

Maybe its just a ninja nerf to sustain thats *working as intended* on top of the Morrowind sustain nerf and the recent regen calculation changes. ZOS wants everyone to fall over and die after one dodge roll.

I honestly feel like this particular bug has been the biggest source of rage for me in a video game, like ever.

I used to never ever get mad while playing games, but this is some next level ***. So many times I've lost a good fight only cause my stamina suddenly decides to stop regenerating despite having 2.5k regen....

Or predicted death resource desync... That's another next level BS right there... When you actually drop really really low the game sort of predicts your death and drops all your resources to 0%. It doesn't matter if u actually survive it and heal through it. You're at 0% and have to regain everything. I've seen this happen way too many times. WHY is that even a thing? I don't understand the logic behind having this mechanic in the the game. When you're dead you can't use stuff anyway. Like.... REALLY?

I experienced this bug in battlegrounds a few days ago where both my battlegrounds matches I was experiencing this bug... literally had to tell them I couldn't attack because of the resource bug.

Agree! Game breaking bug fixes should be their priority, instead of push new dlcs no matter what.

Confirmed.
This bug is directly related to the random stuck in sprint bug.
You can stop the drain by clicking once on the sprint button(to stop the sprint).

I hadn't had this happen until recently and boy is it annoying. All the bgs I played in tonight I had this happen, and to top it off my weapons decided to display on the wrong bars afterwards aahhhh bugs

Wow, I could've sworn I just ran out of stamina incredibely fast in some cases, but I written it off to stamina drain poisons...Now it seems i wasn't actually imagining things.

@ZOS_GinaBruno is this on the fix list for 2020 as usual. Can I pay for a bug fix scroll from the crown store? I might be tempted to open crown crates if the scroll was an apex reward if that’s what it takes to fix these stupid bugs. I think fixing a shutdown trial is higher on the priority list though.

The devs know about it but they say it's a tough one to nail down. Was hoping the latest patch would have a fix, but no such luck. Let's hope it gets some priority. In PVE you can live with it. In PVP, in the middle of intense combat, it can be absolutely infuriating. PLEASE fix this soon.
