Thoughts on more Classes and Races

Im curious of the communities thoughts on the idea of more classes and races.
I am in favor of both, more classes and races. my opinion is that the Necromancer class is long overdue. there are many of classes that could be added that would add more diversity to the game. if not classes then add more skill trees with specific themed abilities.
I love the idea of more races aswell but from what I have encountered playing the game and the forums, most people would disagree with me, I wish that wasn't the case. I would like minotaurs, sea elves, tang'mo , and a whole host of other races and beast folk that could be played as.

    I want necromancer as a skill line (like the Psijic line, or Dark Brotherhood) and not a class, so I can make my old Altmer sorceror into a necromancer like he was born to be.

    *Edit* Had to edit this stupid post because I'm incapable of spelling "sorceror" correctly. Sigh.

    For now, we either have no more new classes, or have an overhaul and have tons of classes. Bring ing in a new class like ZOS did with warden is pointless to say the least

    LOL! I still managed to misspell it. I feel like I should hit myself in the forehead and say "DOH!" like Homer Simpson.

    Races is a bit tricky since we have the precedent of only the 9 races in the game right now being playable in previous TES titles. As for classes, they still can't get the 4 they had a launch working properly and they added a 5th which they have proven they can't make it effective in most situations. Why add more when they already struggle?

    itd be nice to bring in new classes cause itd make balance an actual catchable thing as 5 classes just are not enough to balance everything perfectly. you need more.

    They need 5 more classes; one for each race. We also need racial ultimates. And we need more weapon skill lines too: dual wands, wand and shield, crossbow, bowstaff...

    Maybe the next chapter we can buy an extra skill slot on our bar!

    So necromancer is part of other TES games but they are "the baddies" in this game which makes being a heroic necromancer awkward in this game.

    We have all the TES races available.... but Maomer is available as an option... I'd like to see it as a playable race with lightning and poison damage bonuses.

    better to just add more skill lines everyone can use and revamp the useless ones like soul magic. This game never should of had classes to begin with.

    I'd love to see more classes and races. The more options the better in my opinion. But I do think some work needs to be done on some of the existing races and classes too so I'd love to see them getting some attention first.

    races: Maomer race combined with a campaign on their home land. that be cool imo. And do-able armor wise.

    Of course if thats no option, a maomer skin option would work too. (all light blue and slightly scaly)

    necromancy is canon seen as evil, but how about illusion magic? The ability to summon random creatures that distract or fear . Could be a fun skill line imo or even a class if you get really creative.
    Same with bard class/skill line where all skills are music based in some way or about seducing the enemy in to joining your side for a lil bit. (dont ask me how that would work in pvp. No idea)

    What are Natch Potes? Can you eat those?

    Necromancer as a class i dont feel has enough options thats differing enough from existing class-specialisations.


    Shadow and blood magic is already covered by nightblades, and sorcerers too got daedric minions and dark arts under their wings.

    As a skill line i feel it would suit better as it would seamlessly fit in with the shadow/blood aspects of nightblades.

    I wouldnt want new races though. Ill let the main-TES games break the mold on that one.

    I think we have a good set of classes as it is. Even with the warden didn’t really add anything to the game but mostly due to it being weak.

    Zos demonstrated with the warden it doesn’t have the manpower to build a good new class and that was something they started on back when they had an armor of developers and coders.

    I’d be happy my of ee nerved get another class. I’d rather not have a poorly design necromancer since I know Zos would not be able to build one worth using.

    Same with races. We have a good set of choices and adding another for the sake of it doesn’t. Make sense.

    We don’t need junk added just to say something was added.
