What would you like for ZOS to revamp in the baste game content?

Nothing. Work on new content and improve the game’s performance.

I think it is extremely unlikely Zos will choose to rework the quests in the base game as OP is wanting. Far to much work for what is basically zero return.

Seriously? Even WOW revisits old content

ya too much to the point they were.are releasing vanillia servers due to feedback.
revamping older content has its pros and cons. I think the base game stuff is fine.

    A1 sauce.

They could also do with refreshing the textures on the base game assets like objects, mobs and environments.
They’ve changed the race style armors before so if they could update the textures on Bosmer and High Elf armor that would be awesome.

stuff like you suggest don't work in MMO. swtor tried this and failed at it because when you do group content, or stuff as a group only the "leaders" choices matter.

there are some quests with slight choices. like one kharnathie's roost quest where you pick the fate of a family of moon sugar farmers. a morrowind quest on the fate of a slave girl.

bleakrock quest chain ends in a choice on saving everyone or leaving people behind.

MMO tend to have way more quests and having quests with too many different branches will take too much time to do.
    But it’s good for replayability

Inventory grid-view with a drag and drop feature so you can organise stuff how you want.

Gear to have a standardized naming convention. Some sets are Gloves of Watchmacallit and others are Thingymrbob Gloves. I much prefer the set name being first, so much easier to find stuff when it's sorted.

Rework textures to adapt the old zones to the new ones. The visual differences between the new Summerset zone and, let's say, Auridon is huge, for example the new water looks so much more realistic, the trees and rocks have more details, and so on. I'd love to see these things improved in the original regions.
Additionally most of the old armor styles need updated textures to fit in with with newer ones. I'm mainly talking about the racial styles, draugr, daedric and dwemer. It is almost impossible to include those styles in outfits mixed with new motives since their bad textures stand out horribly.

A rework of quest dialogue would be nice as well. Newer NPC's seem to have much more personality and their dialogue is way more interesting and memorable. When doing quests in the original zones the NPC's are all very same-ish and so is the dialogue. In every single quest you are being presented with some problem and then ask 'What should I do?' and get sent do do something. It gets repetitive quickly. Don't get me wrong though, I don't want the stories to be redone, but the way they are presented.

Other than that I'd love to see a veteran mode for all zones that allows to replay the zone with all it's quests, world bosses, dolmens and dungeons (delves and public dungeon) in much higher difficulty and with better rewards. Perhaps something to unlock per zone once every (or almost every) quest has been completed.

Replayability is very different for a single player RPG and an MMORPG. A single RPG can do that only through the choices in the quests. An MMO's replayability lies in its group content: dungeons, trials/raids and PvP. Every MMO is a grind at the end.

not really, it just add more work of dev time. replay-ability is logging in and playing with friends/guildmates.

replay-ability isn't about having 20+ characters. the more they add to quests, the longer it takes to update the game. MMO have way more quests then singleplayer

1.) Update graphics, voice acting and towns (more houses etc)
2.) Align quests, NPCs, voice acting with One Tamriel properly.
    3.) Revamp UI
    4.) Solo Dungeon Storyline
    5.) Fix the map

Just to name a few easy ones. They really need to update the base game content before Elder Scrolls 6 drops

There isn't really a good reason not to add a Global Auction House at this point - at least not on the PC.

Almost everyone uses "addons" to price check and find items now anyway. So it's basically a "global" auction house already - just more cumbersome to use with the added annoyance of having to go through a "trading guild" to sell.

So as predicted, this game's experiment to use individualized markets to prevent a single market from emerging that controlled pricing has failed, just like it has on every other MMO that has tried it before. The only thing the current "guild trader" system actually accomplishes is further punishing players who don't use "addons" while making it more difficult for newer players who don't belong to a trading guild to make money. Oh, and the addition of price check please spam. And none of those accomplishments are beneficial to the game.

auction houses/market boards are easier to manipulate. Most MMO with them have higher concentration of rmt and gold buying websites. in ff14, you can't go for 20 second w/o seeing rmt spam. its obnoxious. even the right click report feature hasn't helped.

on ps4 eso i have yet seen any rmt spam. i honestly enjoy the way eso does the econemy and i played mmo with AH. they don't work out. I see lowbie stuff sold at too high of an amount.

i honestly had 0 issue as a new player making money. You have DB, thieves guild, quests, can trade with other players.
i never had issues finding items either, and paying for a fair price.

To be fair, Blizzard actually has the resources and wiggle room to actually do that. ESO has to continue making a profit to keep up, and revisiting older content doesn't sell boxes. It would be awesome though. :)

I would like to see the trading system get reworked or upgraded. As it is now, I barely use it. If it wasn't for the add-on that's supposedly destroying the economy, I wouldn't use it at all. There needs to be better sort and search options in the base game.

i'd like better performance from the servers, and not get frozen & tossed out so frequently. This wasn't so bad for quite a while, but starting with Midyear Mayhem, it's been awful.

Another thing, since the above is unlikely to be completely resolved any time soon, retaining the group abandonment penalties during events when everybody including ZOS knows traffic is significantly increased, is a terrible idea when players are thrown out through no fault of their own. In fact, the fault lies at the feet of ZOS's own insufficient server system. And just to rub salt in the wound, after you lost your AP and XP you get penalized with a 20 minute cooldown before you can re-enter the content.

The above things are performance-related. But as far as the functionality, gameplay, UI, etc...the one thing I'd really like is to expand the cap on the quest journal log. With such a huge game, that gets bigger and bigger with each update and dlc, a limit of 25 open quests is, IMHO, absurd. Even if it was to be some sort of ESO+ perk, or something to be bought with crowns, it really needs to be bigger...

    Removal of crown crates

Change cp system to focus more on the unique effect passives instead of the percentile buffs

More casual/general fun things in base game zones. IE: small events in starter towns that all people in zone can opt into or out of, card games/gambling tables/bar games you can play with party members, ineractables that make characters do a unique animation

I'd like to get one year of them solidly delivering on the DLC schedule before using up another quarter redoing things on the base game. We've received some great systems on occasion when they went off-schedule (housing, One Tamriel), but I like new content a fair bit more than rehashing old content. This year we're only getting one new DLC zone (murkmire) instead of two and a dungeon pack. While the dungeons are always a good time, they're not a replacement for new zones.

    1. fix Performance Issuses, mainly in Cyro! - this should be top Priority!

    3. add an ingame voicechat for groups so we don't need to use a 3th party program to actually communicate in trials or dlc
    Dungeons
    4. add more Furnishing Slots for everyone not just for ESO+ Members / just raising the cap for furnishing in most Houses
    5. rework or remove the CP-System completely, because this System seems lazy and unpolished and causes alot of Problems,
mostly in PvP from what i've witnessed and/or experienced myself
    6. make solo Dungeon Bosses a bit more challenging and give us a reason to repeat the fight, maybe give them some sort of
    mechanics, whilst still be soloable
    7. this is a minor suggestion from myself because i play with reshade enabled anyway but maybe rework some ingame
