What would you like for ZOS to revamp in the baste game content?

Mine would be take a page from the Witcher 3 and Divinity Original Sin 2 and have dynamic quests with multiple options and multiple endings. Change the main story slightly having 10 soul shriven instead of one to fit the mmo aspect of the game. Fixing the performance in pvp. I honestly think if they did this, this game would be hugely addictive and popular

    I would like them to make it easier to baste! I get it, it’s something us up and coming chefs need to learn how to do but the content for it is rough.

    Performance should be their top priority. That is what makes or breaks a game.

    1--(the ability to reset or restart quest chains to play them again on the same character.

    2--(the ability to reincarnate a character into a different class, other skill lines would remain the same but character would revert to level 0 in the new class. all other progress within the world would remain (quests and such still completed) this could be done multiple times once the character hits level 50 again

    3--(monster play, the ability to play as a daedra in a fourth daedric faction in cyrodil (like Lotro) complete with their own abilities and different daedra (daedroth, xivkyn, spider daedra, scamp even, etc.)

    4--(a repealed and replaced CP system so that the game can stop being split between CP or no CP and power can return to the players and not the champion system.

    5--(imperial city to get its own instance and queue separate from cyrodil

    6--(new towns, ruins, keep layouts, terrain in cyrodil.

    7a--(more interesting towns and wilderness designs, example being blackreach from skyrim, if the main cavern had a city location we could port to and the various dwemer caves that off shoot that location were there own large wilderness locations with dungeons and world bosses in them, and access points in the various tunnels to other parts of the world (so you could travel from the rift, down through a dwemer dungeon, into black reach, up through another dwemer dungeon, and out into winterhold, etc.

    7b--(more interesting travel mechanics like that in general, what if we could travel up into an dark anchor in reapers march, be in cold harbor, and find and travel down and out a shadowfen dolmen, would be a lot of fun and really connect the world more.

    Revamp base game dungeons, but not only by buffing bosses HP and damage done, but also add new bosses and new mechanics with similar level of difficulty as DLC dungeons.

    Buff Craglorn trials so they can also be harder to complete, but if done on HM they reward you with a skin.

    or at least a lot less spots with traders, but a lot more traders in each spot!
    And a full revamp of item search, that doesn't feel like it was designed by an intern during his first week... (why is there no full text search, an "unknown" checkbox for styles, recipes and furnishing stuff, etc.etc.)

    Better textures on some of the older content! It's especially jarring now that we have houses and some of the furnishings are from launch.

    The textures on some environments are really ugly now too, but I notice it the most on items like furniture and some of the old armor.

    Overhaul the graphics/textures of all the original zones and starter areas. They look utterly weird in comparison to more recent environments.

    Concerted effort to fix the issues in Cyrodiil.

    Faction locking in PvP campaigns.

    Much better "Rewards for the Worthy" - these are absolutely pitiful in comparison to PvE rewards. Also, - how about some skins that are only available through PvP? Many PvPers will never get the chance to own the top end PvE skins

    Yeah, quests that has multiple paths are important to replayability. I would only tweak quests in the base game to have multiple options, not replace them and have them have more meaning. For example, if you choose not to save Razum Dar in that one quest, I would try to kill him off

    Revamp of Arena Weapons and the return of their stat boosting effect as a 1pc bonuses.
    When I say Revamp, I mean an entire reworking of their unique effect to be comparable to Monster sets in terms of damage/utility/etc. That way I can choose to use either a Monster set or Arena weapon with my 2 5 pc sets.

    Separate Imperial City from Cyrodiil queue and remove the flag mechanic entirely.

    I would love to see updates to the zones appearances if anything. Like Summerset and Morrowind look so fancy and new, and the base zones are so dingy (DC could use quite the pick-me-up). Everyone and their mothers are in the capitals all the time so they'd really benefit from updates.

    The ability to toggle the revive invulnerability in PvE. I get its use to give you a chance to escape from an enemy you might not want to aggro again, and it should be kept in dungeons for when a group wipes on a boss for that reason, but at least give us the option to NOT have to wait to open a door or talk to an NPC.

    3rd one sounds interesting on a personal level.

    it was a lot of fun in lotro and the only reason I played it as long as I did (was like a tiny version of the alliance war, a small two faction map with various keeps and places to capture)

    I never got my character past 40, but I had a maxed out warg (the "rogue" creep class if you will)

    it was fun because even though you were in pvp there was kind of a disconnect between you and defeat, it was not very personal because it wasn't your character, it was your pvp monster, it was going to die, it was a monster.

    they also started at max level so any disadvantage was purely balance and not level related.

    anyway, please bring this up with whatever influence you have, I loved it so much, it was so unique and well recived by the players, it was just a small game and a dev team with limited priorities :cry:

    Also the craftable and a plethura of the dropped sets from basegame etc need revamp to be viable again.

    I think it is extremely unlikely Zos will choose to rework the quests in the base game as OP is wanting. Far to much work for what is basically zero return.

    Craglorn needs the quests completely wiped and start over so they are more consistent with other solo zones. Get rid of all that hybrid crap. Let's pretend a group adventure zone never, ever, never existed.

    Put the damn fires out at Bleakrock. It's not Hell.

    Remove all barriers to being able to solo group dungeons and delves. Making two players each stand on a pedestal or something is just stupid.

    Okay, that's all I can think of. Otherwise it's all pretty good.

    stuff like you suggest don't work in MMO. swtor tried this and failed at it because when you do group content, or stuff as a group only the "leaders" choices matter.

    there are some quests with slight choices. like one kharnathie's roost quest where you pick the fate of a family of moon sugar farmers. a morrowind quest on the fate of a slave girl.

    bleakrock quest chain ends in a choice on saving everyone or leaving people behind.

    MMO tend to have way more quests and having quests with too many different branches will take too much time to do.

    Fix the UI so it is no longer such a pain to do everyday chores in the game.
